For those of us that built either a knife-assassin, a shield-tank, or a mage, and aren't level 68 running the novice difficulty with max'd sneak and archery tabs, arrows don't always work. In fact, for those of us that play on master, arrows only offer us "I can hide in this tent where he can't reach me until my health recharges and i can run like a Kenyan until I find another 500 to hurt the other half of his life oh god oh god oh god AAAAU-" At least, anything under level 20 ends like that.
^ This. I got my 100 Sneak legitimately by going through dungeon after dungeon without uncrouching. I can be standing right next to the bastards and hitting them with arrow after arrow and they still won't find me. So basically get yourself up to a high sneak, and put some distance between you and him, then you're fine. Another good trick that I used before I had a really high sneak was to use the Throw Voice shout whenever they started getting close to seeing me. (You can get it at Shearpoint. You learn all 3 words at once) Then they'd start walking towards where I shouted. After that I'd wait until they'd put a little bit more distance between us and resume the volley of arrows.
This guy neglected to mention the trial involved in beating spearpoint. A level'd dragon placed at 1 above your current bracket, and the second-hardest of the dragon priests. If you are playing on master, this strategy is probably far more time consuming than trying to kite a dragon back to someplace where you can shoot it with 10000 arrows recklessly because it got stuck.

Those screenshots are why I want to get a new computer and skyrim on the PC. It looks infinitely better than on the xbox. Just flatout beautiful.
more screens Spoiler these screens came out weird, in game they are more vibrant and there is a much better sense of depth and clarity, also some of these seem washed out to be fair I get a lot of random stutters and some areas there is way too much bloom and light sources are way too bright and washed out
With a shader mod you get 2 different images when you press print screen right? (Unless you are using F12 in steam) I think you are using the screenshot without the shader installed.. Also disable hub nooob.
the only difference between the two different shots is a slight time lag I take these on my travels maybe I will try some staged ones and I will disable hud (not hub)
There is a good ui mod that will have your marker go away after you stay still. Definitely worth it for this purpose and it's customizable.
Its called immersive HUD (iHUD) I'm guessing he's also using vurts flora overhaul and lush grass/trees.
