Really? It's only mid february, and the game isn't scheduled to come out until the very end of the year. To be completely honest, I didn't think we'd hear ANYTHING of it until around E3 time, which is months away.
I'm just going off the rest of the industry. Probably 90-95% of games would have more info out by now. Seriously, think about every game you own and try to remember when the media started popping out for it. For H3, information about Valhalla was released in a magazine in November of 2006. For ODST, information and a trailer were released around the same time in 2008 back when it was called Halo 3: Recon. For Reach, a trailer was released at the VGA's in December 2009 and weekly talk and info about the multiplayer beta would be going on at this time in 2010. Those are just a few examples. Think about GoW, CoD, and pretty much any other game. I saw a video that IGN posted a few weeks ago about all of the Shooters of 2012 and Halo 4 was by far the most breif. All of the others had gameplay footage and lots of info, the Halo 4 section just showed a piece of the teaser trailer and said "Halo 4 takes place shortly after Halo 3 with the return of Masterchief, and that's pretty much all we know at this point".
If those are the maps, that makes me very happy. It looks like 343 will go back to making custom environments instead of reusing them from campaign, which pleases me. Unless the entire campaign doesn't take place in whatever it is that the chief is in.
Pretty sure canary was concept art for h3 high ground. Postage looks like concept art for that firefight map.
Honestly the first time I saw Canary I wanted to forge a map off of that pic. X) Cant wait till it comes out.
Pretty sure someone just added that logo. If you google high ground halo 3 concept art you'll find that image without the logo.
I think elite warrior was just being ignorant, or 343 just wants to feature concept art for past games and is just adding in their watermark because there wasn't one before.
Or someone (not 343) posted it on the forums and 343 took it down fearing that people would think it was from halo 4. I still think Canary looks amazing and I would love to see it in the game.
You don't need to say "pretty" sure. Notice how it conveniently cuts off the Halo 3 ODST logo? So obviously fake that it makes me sad it lasted a whole page of scrutiny before someone noticed it said "Indusries". From left to right: Halo 3 campaign concept art, waterworks concept art, Highground concept art and ODST concept art.
