for me this map was by far the funnest thing I've forged so far in my entire career. every day Id come home from school and work on it as soon as I got up to my room. lock down is a symmetrical map that has two equal bases. the map is perfect for assault and CTF. there is a sword, shotgun, and rocket launcher. on the map which are all at the line of scrimmage.

this is the right side of the map as seen from the red side. In this area there is a grenade launcher and DMR at both sides and a sword spawns in the middle inside a blocked off room. the red side is slightly different than the blue side. for the blue side has no covenant barriers and in stead has small rocks mixed around.

this is the other side of the map. it has a needle rifle and concussion rifle for both sides and shotgun is leaning on the coliseum wall in the middle.

this red base and red spawn. there are two shield doors in front and a one-way door in the back you cant see from this angle and it will only spawn in symmetrical games. the flag spawn is located on the small bunker.

the rocket launcher spawns here under neath the main room.

here is a better view of the sword spawn. note that the shield doors are one-way so you have drop down from the main room in order to get it.

I don't upload very much to this site so I'm not sure if I messed up on it but the map is, in my opinion, the best I've forged so far in reach.
By the way during play tests my friends figured out the brilliant strategy of throwing the flag through the one way shield door. I was going to fix this but then thought that this was just too good of a strategy. let me know what you think. and i appreciate any feed back.

Yah I was the first post and view

OT: map looks good its cleanly forged with some nice aesthetics. The map is a little bland so I suggest adding more aesthetics or to use more appealing blocks than 4x4s and double wall and I am also questioning the one way shield doors near the sword because they will cause camping.

    i wouldn't exactly say career...
any way, the map does have potential, but if you could add more cover, that would be great.

this looks realy realy ugly lol. I like what I can see as far as the design for the map, and it looks like you got your walls nice and even, but all those duble walls and 4x4s make the map look horable. Ill give it a try and let you know how it plays, since it doesn't realy look like the map itself is so bad, but I would re-think your forge piece choises and go back in and make the map look nicer.

what would i use instead of double walls? i know i could replace 4x4 blocks with large platforms.

just experiment, if i told u exactly what blocks to use it wouldn't exactly be your own style lol but some comon pieces that are big, nd look clean and consistant: ramp xls, corners 4x4, brace large nd i just realized recently with building my new map that i love 3x4s and 2x4s, on there sides they look realy nice. even bridge inclines turned the rite way can look good, but that might not work as well on your map since it has alot of outdoors too. yea i have seen some great things done with platform larges, xls, xxls, but i personally do not like them.

just think of it this way, look at your walls. you can easily pick out each piece from one another rite? try to get rid of that. good luck
