This a loose remake of High Ground from Halo 3. I made this map for three reasons, 1. There arent many remakes or interpretations of high ground i have seen (at least that were decently made) 2. I wanted to use a part of forge world not commonly used (and not entirely gray) 3. I wanted to make a capture the flag map The map has a high ground and a lower ground seperated by a wall with a tower. I really don't see any High Ground on this map... Maybe if you highlighted the areas where it is remade, then it would be easier...

I can see Highground in there and it doesn't look grey everywhere like you said, which is always good. I haven' played a match on it yet but it looks well put together and nice and tidy. I did manage to get down into Coagulation without dying but a quick deathzone will sort it, apart from that it looks good to me.
Your insight isnt bad (see what i did there jk) seriously, any ideas? Well I was going for the wall like high ground with a tower like high ground and an underground bunker type thing...perhaps remake isnt the right word, but it was greatly inspired by the layout of high ground...just not supposed to be the exact thing. perhaps that will help you understand a little better. appreciated...much love Really, everytime i fell off that i always died....but perhaps with jetpack you could make it i guess...work on fixing that tonite....thanks for the insight... Looks pretty good. I'm one of those folks who made a gray, and as you said "not decently made", high ground remakes back in the day, lol. You definitely did the right thing by doing a loose inspiration rather than an exact remake. I tried so many times to make a natural high ground but I got frustrated with the uncooperative forge world landscape. The one big thing I'd have to say that seems problematic about this version is that the cliff side is too disadvantaged. At least the original beach area in HG had that elbow that protected beach spawning and the sniper cave route and so on, but your attacking spawn area seems to be so low and uncovered that it would be unbalanced. Nevertheless I enjoyed checking this out and seeing another rendition of an awesome map.
Well i meant no harm in posting about poorly made other versions of high ground. I did say MOST were poor. As i remember, yours was pretty good. However, you are exactly right about the forge world terrain. Pretty tricky. as far as the lower side being too disadvantaged, there really is more cover than it looks, and less vantage points up top to just lock it down completley. Bottom also gets a sniper, active and a ghost, and the main tower doesnt overlook the lower side, but the higher side rather. Appreciate the feedback Ill check into making it a little more protected based on your advice....maybe
