    This is my first post to this forum so if i completely botched something please let me know and don't crucify me for it. I will gladly change anything necessary.

    It has been a while since i last released a map i made to the public. My last two were published over on Bungie.net but since they no longer have a dedicated forum for creations i was forced to find another outlet of like minded individuals. The name of the map is more of an inside joke and if anyone has any serious input as to what to rename it too please don't shy away from making it known to me.

    You can find the whole file set Here. Included in the file set are pics of every tier, a virtual tour(fully rendered for your viewing pleasure), and the actual map. There are no extra gametypes made exclusively for this map since it works well with slayer FFA's, 2v2's, and 4v4's. PLEASE NOTE: I am thinking of expanding this to include Oddball, KoTH, Stockpile, and Headhunter. I just need more playtesting in order to deduce viability.


    Break Down
    1st tier is the "basement" and 4th tier is the "attic" or "sniper perches"

    1st Tier: Contains the teleporters to the 2nd tier on the opposite side, ramp access to 2nd tier directly above, two man cannons to 3rd tier(or 4th if you hit it right), four plasma grenades(90 respawn), and pro pipe(2 extra rounds 180 respawn). Little to no cover will clear sight from one side to the other.

    2nd Tier: Two health packs(120 respawn), dmr(3 clips 120 respawn), plasma pistol(120 respawn),needler rifle(3 clips 120 respawn), and four frags(90 respawn). Crowded CQC with hallways created by walls and rocks. Beware of Shark Rock.

    3rd Tier: Two DMR's(3 clips 120 respawn), plasma pistol(120 respawn), two plasma grenades(90 respawn), and minimal cover but quick access to other tiers.

    4th Tier: Two snipers(8 rounds 180 respawn), two plasma grenades(90 respawn), and jumping access to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier. Jump to 1st tier is extremely difficult and will probably result in suicide. The bases have sight lines of each other but you can get behind cover on top.

    Background
    I started out with the intentions to make a map completely enclosed with every level connected to the other in some fashion. If you can imagine Count Down but in a smaller space. I quickly ran into the problem of finding space that was big enough to fit the design i wanted and at the same time have a wall efficient enough to cover the map so i scratched the idea and decided to have four levels instead of only three(top level isn't really a whole tier just tops of the buildings).

    The reasoning behind making every nook and cranny accessible from many points was so that camping would be nearly impossible. Overall this was fairly difficult to pull off and still have the map playable and fun. The playtesting i have done with my friends has wielded positive results.

    Every level was meticulously designed to connect to the other level via ramps or jumps or even lifts. The man cannons were by far the most difficult part of the design as you can imagine how long it takes to fine tune the angles and distances to get it to work every time.

    This map can be confusing at first if you dont take the time to understand how it works flow wise. Once you get the hang of the map though i can guarantee that you will enjoy the map.

    I have no idea what this map is made for is it Slayer? If it is i dont think it would play very well with the different platforms attached via man cannons

    As i stated in the post, this map was made for slayer game types(FFA, 2v2, 4v4) but i'm looking to adapt it to other game types such as Headhunter, KoTH, and Oddball.

    You can speculate all you want but this map actually plays pretty well in slayer matches. I just need more people to put some time into it to find exploits that haven't been brought to my attention.

    EDIT:
    What i mean by "it plays pretty well" is that with so many different approaches to take towards each part of the map, no one place is "the best". Obviously if you have the sniper the easiest place to hold is on top of one of the bases but with two ways up and the other sniper perch looking right at you, it's very hard to hold said position effectively.

    I like this! It definetly takes what uncaged has, and puts it to the extreme. The separation of levels and multiple routes through them would probably make the map play deceptively well, despite some levels being rather barren.

    I went with a minimalist approach on the bottom level since the other two levels have so much going on in them. With the top i didn't want to over do it on the obstacles since hindering the movement of players when there are sniper perches is somewhat sadistic unless its for a custom game.
