iForger's Roast Review Ep.1

Wow....
That was... pretty bad.

While I agree that the map is a little rough on the edges your "review" of Road Work Ahead was had a lack of objective and criteria and boiled down to you raging any time you fell off the map which does not constitute a review.

All I saw here was a petty attempt to recreate a Rooster Teeth Rage Quit video.

Sure you showed us some of the pitfalls of the map itself, but people are not going to take you seriously when you scream at the microphone the first time you fall off the map.

The funniest raging from a 18 year old ever. But I don't recommend you making more of these, people won't take you seriously when you are screaming/bashing at the creator every time you see a tiny flaw, also word of advice: Don't make it personal (giving him negative points because of his name).

I stopped the video and now i'm posting this, then going somewhere else.

 

00) Reading the title, I thought that this was gonna be similar to a Comedy Central Roast special, just based on maps, and I thought that was a pretty unique idea for forge map reviews, so I Started writing down notes as I watched.

23) "It's ... smooth ... and all that jazz ..." It's obvious you have no idea what you're talking about. You shouldnt have to bullshit and stall to come up with some words to say about a map, ESPECIALLY when you're not forced to do it all in one take.

41) "... so you can see the whole MAP! ..." Read above.

50) You finally start showing the beginning of a race on the map, almost a full minute after the video starts. At this point, I almost wanted to stop watching.

(1:27) I dont care how "trollish" you're trying to make yourself seem, You dont actually start cursing off that loudly, like you're actually playing the map, in your video.

(2:32) You start berating the map to no end, and it starts getting incredibly dull. Here is where you'd want to talk about the details of the map; instead you focus on your "rant" on the banks and curves.

(3:12) "I have nothing else to say about this map." And yet you still have over 1:30 left in the video. Interesting.

(4:24) We can read, thankyouverymuch.

Overall, I was not a fan. It was horrendous to listen to, and the editing could easily be improved. The "theme" that you couldve accomplished wouldve been interesting to watch, and a good youtube series can start off of it, but this execution was abysmal.

What the hell is this?

I know, the biggest troll video I've ever seen.

 

Not my favorite, not going to lie. It was unorganized and overall painful to watch.

 

I would hardly call that a "roast" because those normally consist of people being a **** for comedic value in good sport. This was just dull and hard to believe; all you really accomplished from "raging" at the map was throwing several unnecessary insults towards someone's work. The entire video seemed like a fake, not-funny low-blow.

 

I stopped watching at "legit".

The video is awful, have a nice day.

 

Maybe the map is good, you're just **** at driving. I never fell off once whilst playing.

You should stick to making videos of your cat.
