i must say this is one pretty sick map. people did a couple like these on avalanche hanging over the edge but yours is out of the map. and nice interlocking ;]
Moar replies for yous: I didn't hide it, its right in the middle of the map near the shotgun. You couldn't see very well? It's dark yes, but not so dark that you can't see. I have a suspicion that you looked at the very dark pics (none of which show the filter) and made this comment based solely on them. Hmmm. Cheers. Orly? No trust me I ran around for a bit, I just don't like most of the filters. I don't know why I figured you put the filter in some weird place, I spent half the time looking around the main blackout structure.
As beautiful as the structure is, I have some minor problems with the gameplay. You cannot effectively run the map without compromising your stealth. There just isn't enough cover in some places. I do however, like the fact that frag grenades are prone to bouncing off the platform, and become a less effective method of flushing enemies from cover. I'm with you all the way on your decision to bin the BR, as anyone standing on top of the central tower would absolutely own everyone.
i do really like the map, especially the top center, but with the filter, i often have trouble judging distance, and where i can actually jump to. this makes it more difficult to play on. i removed the filter on my saved version and it has increased my enjoyment of the map alot. other than that, well done.
This map is awesome mallet.I like the shape and the how u gave a curve like the moon.And the color is awesome makes its like a real luna experience
Very nice map, but I hope your kidding about Robyn........ No offence but if you really do like her, you must NOT be sane, lol. Was confused at first of why it is black and white, but it turns out the boxes when different colours look nasty, good job.
I played this map, and really, probably the best map ever that has been built in the air area, including Avalanche ones. the forge effect really played to and for the map's feel, while generally in competitive maps it works against it. THat is probably because of the level's location and the fact that it is open aired. I loved the layout, so original. Your interlocking was seamless and everything flowed continuously. I didn't really have many qualms with weapon placement or spawns either, so overall great job, loved it.
Ok fair enough I apologise. Congratulations you earned 1 post from that. Stealth is overrated lol. A map with little cover will be critised for being too open, a map with more cover will be critised for being too camper friendly.
