The Eve a TCOJ Contest map The Eve: Beta Version I was done forging for the most part. I announced it along with the last of my 2v2 map series Geminus (Specifically, Final Elegy). However now I saw here- as I still do visit from time to time- that Nutduster, GrenadeGorilla8, and Overdoziz are running this new contest. I immediately did not care. However the challenge presented was interesting and I found myself spending the last two days I had on vacation forging almost every free minute I had. Many failed attempts later I have here to present to you all for the first time The Eve Feel free to Try out the beta version if you wish. If you do play it I would appreciate feedback. Currently it is set up for Slayer (team) and Oddball only. Power Weapons: Rocket Launcher, Sniper Rifle Primary objects used: 1x4 Block, Medium Bridge, Brace Large, Rock Arch, Bank 2x2, Colosseum Wall. The Eve: Beta Version
This looks pretty cool, but the roof is really ugly. I know that most of the time, the roof of a map doesn't matter, but I feel like the roof on this map should be open, or partially open. I'll have to give this a DL and check it out.
Map looks great , i will download it and try a couple game on it with friends and give you more feedback on FH or XBL . Also for your roof you can open it like 8Ball said or i suggest to add some variantion on the roof .
Thank you both. I am going to take a look at the map again to see what can be done. However with limited budget I am very restricted. The roof may just come off all together. I would appreciate you looking at this very much, thank you for the downloads and kind words. It's been a long time since I forged a 4v4 map (In my hiatus I made a few 1v1's though, so forging itself is not something I got shabby with I think). However spawns have always been a troublesome fact for me. If my dynamic ones don't work out I would appreciate some assistance in the matter if anyone is willing to offer their hand. Thank you for your time. Edit: After much testing the map has changed very much. These images are old and largely false to what the map currently is.
