    Eternal [2.0]-

After receiving a lot of great/positive feedback for Eternal [1.0], I decided to spend some time working on variations of the map. I ultimately created four variations each with its own unique twist on the Eternal formula; however, after play testing and revising each version, it was decided that this was the best of the four variations. Of those that I've play tested with and shown, all have agreed that it is an improvement on Eternal [1.0] which was and is (in my much unbiased opinion) a very solid map.

Special thanks to SkepticaI and Querrawho.

Eternal is a small to mid-sized symmetrical map designed specifically for 2v2 - 4v4, and supports all major competitive game types.

    Weapons on Map:

    2x D.M.R. [1 clip|45 sec]
    2x Needle Rifle [1 clip|45 sec]
    2x Plasma Pistol [NA|45 sec]
    1x Sniper Rifle [1 clip|120 sec]
    1x Grenade Launcher [2 clips|120 sec]
    1x Shotty [1 clip|90 sec] (now spawns bottom-mid)
    3x Frag Grenade [NA|45 sec]
    3x Sticky Grenade [NA| 45 sec]

(I would like to set up an MLG version of this Map, if anyone can tell me specifically the weapon spawn settings that'd be awesome!)

Most of the map remains unchanged (except for minor cosmetic changes to increase my budget and allow for the alterations that I planned.)

In Eternal 2.0, I opened up the ground level giving players more options in their attack. Shotgun spawns at the base of the tree and in objective game types (neutral flag/bomb) objectives spawn on the adjacent platform.

Only minor changes were made here in order to allow more budget.

You can see more of the map and compare the differences by looking at my original post of Eternal 1.0.

    Enjoy,

Looks very nice and solid I love how you broke up the greyness with some greenery it looks very nice. You do have some lighting on some rocks that aren't very appealing but I understand those thing are hard to fix. It looks like a very well map with a high potential of CQC battles which will be good and bad at some points. Besides that great map and I can't wait to see your other maps

Sadly, that section of the map has very poor lighting, Ive done the best I can to reduce the "shadow", but it's still been an issue. As for CQC, opening up the bottom mid definitely has added some tight spaces which provides CQC; however, for the most part the map consists almost entirely of mid ranged combat. Thanks for the feedback!

This map is outstanding! I've had the opportunity to play test both versions of the map and i will agree that the new version definitely opens up the map and gives players more tactical options (which almost always is a good thing!) I can't wait to look at some of your other maps!

How come all good maps need a tree xD. I didn't play the 1.0 version of this map but it looks well put together. I can't wait to try this out when I get back on xbox :D
