Yes, yet another map preview from me. You're probably getting tired of them by now, or maybe you're not. Or maybe you're Kuroda.

Anyways, Ether is an asymmetrical 1v1 map. I really tried to break away from my normal style with this map and create something with a very different atmosphere. I really think I achieved that with Ether.

The map is built to be some sort of forerunner generator. It has a "power line" running across the whole map that actually connects the sender node with the receiver node. The windows act as some sort of <insert something made up about power cores or some **** here>.

    Yep.

The second picture reminds me of Star Wars. Don't ask me why.. The four pictures look awesome though.

EDIT: You actually connected the sender and reciever with platform y's? An awesome idea that is still aesthetical pleasing, I like it.

I used to HATE maps with rocks, but you and a few others have slowly been changing my mind. This map might just push me over to the dark side completely. Looking good mate. Any solid ideas on what weapons will be on display? I see a GL, and what looks to be a needler, but that's about it.

I know you know, but I love this map. The death pits are actually aesthetically pleasing. Aesthetic death pits, people...This is my favorite map of yours, yet.

Hit me up for testing, soon.

    Holy...

Lovely to see a clean aesthetic that strays away from the norm. I'll be looking out for this.

I wanna play this. It looks like the inside of the Death Star...

The asthetics look really nice, and different from the norm. I have no doubts about the gameplay based on your past maps as well.

So, I'll say again, I wanna play this.

Oh noes, you have become one of THEM !!! (dramatically).
Anyway, the map looks awesome, I'm digging the camo platform, as well as the braces/windows/shields for cover.

    A 1 v. 1 map. With a theme??? Whoda thunkit.

This does look interesting. The cool-blue theme is very nice all around, and the idea of a continuous cable sparks my interest. I'll have to look at this in forge sometime, very cool.

Aha so death pits can be aesthetic! That is all! :p I love this, especially the way everythings merged together in a very fitting and clean way. The rocks look both natural and laid out well, and this map reminds me of a Death Star and Data Hive love child. It really hits that forerunner vibe, may I ask what rocks you used mostly to design the walls of the tunnel?

There's a GL, camo, plasma pistol, a spiker. I didn't go too heavy with the weapon set due to the map being fairly small; you have to rely on your DMR more.
    Maybe. I don't know yet.
You need to free up a slot on your FL for me :)
I was very pushed for rocks on this map, so 90% of the rocks you see are arches for the floor and seastacks for the walls. Other than that I used most of the types, though I really like Medium, 1s for a more natural look.
