By Aschur *pictures are only meant for a sneak peak, not for a full view of the map.* Spoiler None Of the weapons are final as this is still a WIP, the final version should support CTF, Assault, Slayer and Territories. Be warned, this is a VERY height-centric map with four floors, and a steap price to pay for falling off them. I am determined to finish this map, I've had it collecting dust on my HDD for a year now due to forging block and lack of Xbox live.
map looks nice, but these pictures dont really give away the map like you said and i cant wait to see the outcome of the map when its done
How do people make a post so amazing like this? Like have all the pictures lined up, I know it's photoshop but I don't know how. Anyways looks clean, also seems that the purple FX is starting to get used more often in Slayer maps thanks to Lux.
I sincerely doubt you made the exact same thing as me. And even so, I am willing to bet I built it first seeing as this map is over a year old. If you doubt me check out the old preview thread here: Fool's Gold. Actually, I have to be honest... I've never even seen Lux. I went dark on the site for about a year, this is what I was building last. But anywho, if anyone is interested in testing you should let me know, I'll be trying to get that done in the next coming weeks.
Looks like a forerunner mining facility from the aesthetics and the design from what the pictures show, looks vaguely based off Heretic Campaign mission from Halo 2. I like it, especially the middle gravity lift the walkway large isnt used very often in good ways, but it seems to work here. Just would like to know more about the layout floor to floor wise, since im guessing they all connect in more ways than the gravity lift .
I'm going to have to take a video walkthrough of the map, pictures just aren't going to cut it for people to understand the layout. Sadly, I have no bungie pro or render minutes. Also, to the astute person who pointed out it looked kinda inspired by the halo 2 level, you earn a cookie for spotting the inspiration. Though you should have said waterworks first, that was a larger inspiration than the Heretic level.
