My archery skill is 79. My bow is glass, I commonly use Steel Arrows. My sneak skill is 80, and I have the perk to do 3x more damage with my bow. I kill everything, Giants included, in one hit in sneak mode. Everything except high tier dragons. This is with my new, slightly less overpowered character.
Uhhh, explain more on what perks you've got, your bow status, and difficulty.... Cause I use a 2nd tier legendary daedric bow, level 71 archery, on Adept, with the 3x sneak perk and the fourth overdraw perk and it takes a good three steel arrows to take down a giant.
Yea I basically have what neo has minus like 5 sneak and archery skill and I come no where near the domination he describes
My archery is 85, my sneak is 92 and I use a bound bow and I don't get anything quite like that. BTW, how is the bound bow in comparison to others? I know it's about 20 points better than a baseline ebony and the arrows are some of the strongest as well.
Adept difficulty, the bow is upgraded as far as can be. All the overdraw perks. And my mistake, it's actually an Ebony bow. Archery is actually 80, not 79.
I, too, want to know what the hell Matty did to that bow. Also, when I'm walking around, people keep saying I look pale and I don't look well. I've drank plenty of Cure Disease potions, but they keep saying it. Now I'm noticing that my arrows aren't travelling as far as they used to and I'm not doing as much damage. What the hell is going on?
Because i was using it with the Nightingale armour and i didn't want to lose it. I dumped it not long after (if you notice im finishing the thieves guild in the background) and picked up a regular bow. And that is just with a marksman potion. No fortify marksman apparel whatsoever. It does like 180 base damage and i have fortify marksman 150% ish potions.
You may have a stat affecting spell active on you, which Cure Disease obviously won't fix. Check your Active Effects tab in the Magicka menu. If there's something wrong with you which is affecting one or several of your skills skills, it will appear in red. Take appropriate action to fix whatever is wrong with you. Failing that, check your Skills menu and see if anything is in red. If it is, then you should go to a shrine of the Nine Divines and activate it, which will remove all previous blessings, but also cure all diseases and afflictions.
As in enchanted your alchemy to alchemize your smithing beyond reason to upgrade your bow or first tier legendary? If the latter, I declare shenanigans.
