I made an alternate Skyrim discussion thread once, but then I took an arrow to the knee.
    /lame joke

I've found one of the easiest ways to make money is to marry that chick in Riverwood whose brother owns the Trader and you rake in all of their profits.

Happens no matter who you Marry, I think. Well all 3 chicks I've married have opened traders of some sort and given me 200 gold a day, so I know it's not just that chick.

And Poolio, your "Longer" way is actually the shortest way, if you don't count having to do the questline, which also rakes you in a tonne of cash.

That's what I meant by longer, that you had to do the main quest.
But you get so much money from it, you also get 20,000 for killing the emperor during the quest.

I stand by that alchemy is the best way to make a profit.
literally turning garbage into gold, by making 800+/potion.

the easiest way is the mannequin dupe glitch. you can just dupe a bunch of expensive jewelry in like 2 minutes and sell them for all the cash youll ever need

Wasn't the entire point of actual historical alchemy making gold?

well, I tried to transmute a pile of rubbish to bring back my dead mum and lost and leg and a brother, then used my arm to transmute my brother into a suit of armor.

I'm probably the best alchemist ever, its almost like it was magic or something.

Spent last few days getting all the dragon priest masks. Then found out you can only get the last one by essentially beating the game...so I did. And now I've got the Konahrik mask. Pretty sweet looking, would have been awesome if it combined all the other masks' effects but no. At least you get the keep the other masks.

Played an hour into this so far. I'm not impressed. Not sure why everyone is frothing at the mouth about skyrim.

If you're only going to play a game like this for an hour, you could at least share the reasons behind your brash judgment.

Has anybody encountered a glitch with dragons where it seems like their altitude meter is broken? I stood around for thirty minutes trying to kill this dragon that would fly up so high you couldn't even see it and then dive all the way down and hit it's head on the ground. I finally gave up because he regenerated health while flying to the sun and back.

The only thing I could think of to explain this is that I was near some magic guys who could have been casting some spell that is able to make a dragon "flee". That still doesn't explain to me why he liked to run himself into the ground

Yeah, happens to me all the time. And sometimes, they don't come near the ground, they stop mid drop and fly back to the ****ing sun.

And TZ, I can understand where you're coming from. But I'd advise playing a little more into the game. It's got it's problems, and after playing around a while, you realize that it isn't as much as everyone's hyping it up to be, but it's still a great game.

Yea I am by no means just playing an hour into the game. Definitely a huge improvement over Oblivion. Lock-pick, character dialogue and conversations. Still not impressed. Then again I hated oblivion and forced myself to play through it. Skyrim has gotten to a better start, but only time will tell.
