With an alchemy level of 15ish, a sneak level of 35ish, and an athletics level of 65ish? Didn't use trainers because they are expensive as ****, and I wouldn't use any glitches.

I wore alik'r robes and wielded scimitars (legendary) for a time instead of my usual dragonscale or glass armor, and combat wasn't any more difficult.

I think Bethesda somehow laced this game with cocaine... It's literally addicting. After getting off and letting my brother use the xbox for a bit, I found myself watching the trailer just to get more of the game... o_o

Edit: Also, is it a bug that sometimes my game just randomly doesn't autosave for hours at a time? Gets really annoying when I die.

Nope. I guess Bethesda decided it wasn't worth their time to include a feature to fix a problem that would only infuriate a percentage of the people playing.

..tell me about it. Got the game 4 days ahead of Christmas (as a present to myself) and have spent pretty much all my non-sleep time playing it since then.

Couple things I've noticed so far:

When going into the player menu the game will say "autosaving" but doesn't and sometimes freezes the game for a minute.

Nord Women in skyrim have abnormally large breasts (usually, there are a few base models)

Be careful if you become the Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold and live there (like I did). Dragons for some reason love attacking winterhold when I fast travel or just exit a door into skyrim from the college. (I've killed at least a dozen dragons so far, much more frequent then any other location). Great if you need dragon souls though (I'm level 35 so the damn elder dragons suck though).

Level 25 is the best level in the game if you have nice weapons/armor. The enemies are usually leveled around 20 so are easy to defeat, including the dragons.

Companions make for a great pack mule but do not let them follow you into battle. It doesn't matter what armor or weapons you give them they will die pretty easily. If its fighting off wildlife like wolves/bears/sabre cats than fine but if you're going on quest involving lots of fighting just tell your companion to wait at the entrance. Trust me the companion will only get in your way while fighting.

    Horses can get you anywhere

    My predictions for skyrim DLC:

Well first I think they'll improve on some stuff. Mostly lag issues due to the save file and framerate issues just looking at things. Also there are plenty of quests that bug out from time to time. As the player can potentially kill infinite numbers of dragons during the game and yet there are only a finite amount of dragon shouts there needs to be more uses for those dragon souls so players would still find use of the souls. (I have 20 souls saved up and I think only 10 or so shouts left to get).

More house upgrades. I should be able to buy any number of mannequins to display armor or weapon plaques for weapons. I should also be able to buy storage containers like chests, wardrobes, book shelves, safes, and barrels. Also things like display cases and maybe even be able to buy guards to stay and walk around my property.

Story wise I think the next move Bethesda will make is a Thalmor Invasion. I don't think they'll add any more land to the game but I think the Thalmor will invade skyrim changing up some of the scenery and you will be tasked with destroying them or joining them (Probably just destroying them as it wouldn't make much sense to join them).

Other less likely (in my opinion) DLC would be insurrections from Imperials being led by displaced jarl's or loyalist NPCs. Entire stories around the Daedra princes whether it is beating them, helping them, ect. Lastly they could add more of Tamriel to explore like Hammerfell, Cyrodil, High Rock, Morrowind etc. Though I doubt that because a few reasons; the game barely holds together with just skyrim, there just wouldn't be enough space to fit another country, coding an entire different country is just something the developers at Bethesda probably won't do, DLC is basically what the skeleton team works on while the main development team works on the next game. Perhaps we might get a few locations that are story specific that are within the different countries but traveling there would be handled by cutscene and you wouldn't be allow to explore much.

I'm just an apprentice there right now, but I've put every other quest on hold until I complete the College.
I've also noticed the frequent Dragon attacks at Winterhold as well. Killed two in the short time I've been there.

I've also acknowledged this as a major nuisance. On top of that, if you accidentally hit them they will ignore enemies just to turn on you...
I pretty much just got high enough in their ranks to get Beast Mode and I haven't dealt with them since.

Judging by the seemingly impossible mountain one got me up last night, I can concur with that.
They are hesitant to jump off cliffs though... pussies.

I think Bethesda learned a lot from Fallout 3, not just in terms of game mechanics like lock-picking, but also how successful certain types of DLC were. Point Lookout, for example, was very well received because it was a whole new area to explore. While we may not have a full lineup of excellent DLC, I don't expect we'll be disappointed like we were with The Pitt, either.

    Look at previous TES games:

Morrowind: Set on island of Morrowind. Dunmer are the dominant race.
-Bloodmoon, set place on the island of Solsthiem. Just off of Morrowind.
-Tribunal, set place in Mournhold, the capital of the Dunmer province.

Oblivion: Set in Cyrodil, the capital of Tamriel. Imperials are the dominant race.
-Knights of the Nine, home world.
-Shivering Isles, Daedric Plane of Madness.

Skyrim: Set in Skyrim, northernmost province in Tamriel. Nords are the dominant race.

Following the trend, whatever this is will likely be a new realm to explore, and probably be another Nordic province OR one of the neighboring provinces. The Orchish homeland on the Western Border? Would be epic.

I did some research on the HUD problem and it turns out that Skyrim doesn't run well on 4:3 SD TVs. Thank god we have an HD TV downstairs in my apartment.

How to Gain Money Fast in Skyrim

There are three ways I have so far found that can get you money quickly in Skyrim. There is a fast, semi-fast, and longer, but fast way (You will see what I mean). I hope this guide will help you!

    Quick Way

[1] Travel to Sightless Pit, a cave south of Winterhold.

[2] Above the cave, you will find some type of altar with a skeleton laying on a table with a book next to it Called "The Doors Of Oblivion"

[3] Read the Book, and then take it.

[4] After taking the book, Kill the skeleton, and the other 2 behind the altar.

[5] Go back to the original Skeleton and search the body. You will find another "The Doors to Oblivion" book. Take it. You can repeat searching and the exiting the body for as long as you want.

[6] You can then sell all those books to the Riverwood trader for tons of money, depending on your speech level.

    Semi-Fast Way

[1] Travel to Riverwood, one of the starting places for Skyrim.

[2] Grab the Woodcutter's Axe on a table close by the cutting blocks
    [IMG]

[3] Go to a nearby Chopping Block, and start chopping wood. You will need to click chop wood every three pieces.

[4] After a few minutes of chopping, you can stop, and sell the pieces of wood to a man named Hod, located somewhere in the same town, and he will buy them for 5 gold a piece.

    Longer, But Best Way

[1] Complete all the Dark Brotherhood Sidequest until you get the sidequest called "The Dark Brotherhood Forever"

[2] Do as the quest says and talk to the Nightmother.

[3] She will tell you there is some type of contact that wants another person dead.

[4] Travel to where the contact is, and get the info on who to kill. The contact will then pay you for the assassination.

    [5] Kill the target
    [IMG]

[6] After killing the target, it will say: "The Dark Brotherhood Forever Completed".

[7] A new sidequest will then Pop up called "The Dark Brotherhood Forever"

[8] Repeat for however long you would like.

Doing this method will get you 800-1200 gold per quest
