No. The day microsoft goes cross platform (excluding shadowrun) is the day I molest the queen of England.
I can't use my MacBook anymore because as some of you know, I splashed coke over the keyboard and now it's all sticky.
Theyve went cross platform on a few titles, and hell, CS:GO will be cross platform. That being said, because 90% of servers use mods, it isnt going to happen.
It sucks, doesnt it? Really offtopic, but are you just gonna send it in to a Genius Bar? Could/would they fix it?

I just got a copy from my friend when he threw it on my flash drive without me knowing, with this copy being nearly legit, it runs fine on my laptop.

Damn, minecraft.net has never worked for me and I can't make an account. But I'm having trouble with multiplayer, it's probably just the fact that I didn't pay for my copy. I dun care though considering I would only grief and spam my friends server.
I just found 2 redstones like an hour into the game. What can I do with them? Also, I found a bunch of black and grey blocks, theyre near impossible to break, what are they?
So much to learn my friend... Redstone is used to rig logic circuits to build working contraptions. The Black and Grey block you encountered (I'm assuming very deep in the map) is Bedrock and marks the bottom of the world. Unless what you found was Obsidian, which can be broken only by a diamond pick axe.
Often I dig down many many blocks to find random materials. And it was not obsidian, so it must be bedrock, as I was very far down. Also, I just found diamonds in the first minute of the survival game I just started, I was digging through some coal and I see a diamond and some redstone, can I break diamond blocks with an iron pickaxe, or does it have to be gold?
Gold tools actually take less time to break a block than any other tool. However the tools themselves break so much faster it's not even worth it, unless you are in single player with TMI mod and can give yourself unbreakable tools.
Gold axes are worth it, but picks can only mine coal/stone so it's pointless, gold armor looks boss so it makes up for the **** stats.
Spawn area on mah server Market Lobby underneath spawn area Sign shops I've got a pretty neat set-up going on, I haven't seen one like this at least--I have the economy system set up so that the only items that make you money are items dropped by mobs. You can buy whatever you want, any raw material for the most part, but you can only sell things that you fight for. It's cool because it gives an incentive to go out mob hunting. I also found a plugin that makes mobs not drop their items unless killed by a player so that a mob grinder won't ruin everything.
