pretty interesting. it could be something, or it just could be a strange visual anomaly. i guess there's not really any way for us to know edit- top comment on youtube: What a scientists would do is examine the phenomenon, check to see if it appears in other recordings (it does), see if it occurs with other planets (it does), examine the scientific literature to see if there's an explanation (there is) then conducts a series of experiments to see if the phenomenon matches the explanation (it does) and see if future occurrences can be predicated (they can). What a non-scientist does is just decide that it's "definitely" a spaceship and post it on YouTube.
I see a buildup of solar heat caused by interaction with the Mercury's magnetic field. Maybe the alien is hiding behind this common, unremarkable occurrence that can be seen during every single solar flare...?
Exactly. This is what annoyed me the most...maybe it really is a spaceship, but there's always a strong chance that it's not.
