This is Colosus Engaged. Yes, I do realize the spelling is wrong, I just wanted to make it more original. This is a fully playable map in which a massive ship is made to be sort of an extension of Standoff. There is a portion of the ship hovering above the ground, allowing you to board the ship. Inside there is access to two ghosts. Continuing onward through the ship, a teleporter sends you to the top of the ship. On top of the ship grants you access to two banshees and other powerful weapons. Now you might say, "Wow, this is truly unbalanced. Two banshees?!? One team could spawn rape the other team until the game ends." In truth, that is not at all what happens. Gameplay flows pretty well. I found that the banshee pilots have to be pretty good to be able to own. Team Slayer and King of the Hill are the gametypes I suggest for this map. 8-12 players. Here is the link to the map. The whole "first post thing is getting rediculous, please just give your opinion and leave it at that. Anyway, I love the thing at the top. The use of Tele's and Shield Doors is outstanding.
that is a BIG ASS SHIP and that is my point great job in the look's department but not so sure about gameplay
woah this is awesome!! just one question though..you said it was built over standoff right? what happens if someone falls off or is that even possible?
I like that teleporter ring you added, it's a nice touch. Might be good for playing, but it mostly catches my eye for it's aesthetics.
The part at the top is reminiscent of Revelation Six's Stargate. Great map, interesting to see a ship map that's not on Avalanche.
If you fall off nothing happens to you, and about half of the game should be played from the ground, although you do have a nice vantage point just being anywhere on the top of the ship.
Instead of building a ship on foundry or avalance, standoff's limited item cache forced you to be twice as creative as the rest of us as you built this ship. It's practically as good as the best ships on the other maps, good job.
Yes, the interior is enterable, but it is simple. I wish it could have been more extensive. I didn't have enough stuff to make it as big as I wanted to be, AND to be roomy at the same time.
do you have alot of stuff on the ground for better play? because it'd be sweet if you had a huge ship+ a playable map actuelly
There are not very many OBJECTS on the ground. There is howerver a full weapons set and a few vehicles.
Good to see you on The Hub. Very good by the way I havent played a full match on it yet but im sure it is a blast.
