The main area is huge but the doors you find don't go to full on dungeons with the exception of one the entrances you use.

I still think the lowermost level of "The man who cried wolf's" dungeon is the most epic.

No other cave has a massive castle capped off with the lightshows accompanying the ressurection of an insane empress of hundreds of years privious. She and the underking are the two i most want a game about :p

Protip or training archery quickly and actually becoming good at it; Angi's lives in a shack at the literal southernmost part of the map in the area of Helgen. Go there, then head south until you find a dragon nest, then head southwest for epic training.

Ok so I played Skyrim on a friend's computer the other day and the first thing that happened was I discovered some hectic vampires keep inside a huge mountain, killed everything, got some new thu'um thingo, went to the top and then jumped off. It was pretty fun but then after that it got boring.

Man I find the dwemer globes really tough to kill but I don't want to check out their resistances because it might be cheating. Also what do you need to do to get the amount you can carry up?

Stamina, I believe. You can also find enchantments that allow you to carry more.

It's worth noting that Stamina enchantments don't affect carry weight at all, only the base increases from leveling. You can always increase carry weight directly with potions or enchantments, though.

It may be a bit late for some of you, but you should consider avoiding patch 1.2. It appears to cause more problems than it fixes.

One of the pickpocket skills ups your inventory by 100, too.

Stamina all the way for me. I've capped health at 250 as it seems like more than enough at that point with armour and resists in the mix.

Yeah, I have a few items with enchantments with that up my carrying capacity. I only wear them when I'm full.

I'll look into that pickpocket skill, seems useful.

    Lol @ vid Chron. Lol.

So, I've just discovered that I can up my weapons damage a tonne by having my Smithing at 100, then wearing enchanted doodads that increase Smithing by x% and drinking potions. Now walking around with dual Daedric Dagges, each doing 90 damage, coupled with the 15x Sneak perk, and we're looking at 1350 damage, if sneaking and undetected. That's just with a normal attack, too. Not sure how much a power attack ups the damage, but it's gotta be at least 1.5x normal. So, if it's 135 damage (90 x 1.5), with the 15x perk, that's 2025 with a power attack, plus the 25% extra damage for standing power attacks perk, that's 2531 damage.

Dayam. One-hit KO on a Dragon, anyone?

Angi's Shack. Google you can see it on your compass when standing about halfway between Bloodlet Throne and the Dragon's perch.

Power attacks dont get any extra bonus when sneaking in terms of damage. However, that number can be exceeded through clever use of the nightinggale and shrouded armors, respectively. One of them doubles backstab damage.

My daedric 2 handed does 258 damage, plus 21 fire and frost damage; Plus the perk for double critical damage (3 with your 1.5x damage theory) so even though it does nowhere near the same amount, it's still a considerable amount based on the lack of sneak.

I'm fairly certain they do. I've done a normal attack and a power attack while sneaking, on the same level with the same perks, to two enemies of the same kind (Draugr Death Lord). The normal attack didn't kill in one hit, whereas the power attack did. This was a while ago, mind.

And I've looked around on the net, and the popular opinion seems to be that power attacks do double the damage of normal attacks. Lot's more than I first calculated, then. :S

    258? That's damn impressive.

Running dual daedric swords right now (I'm level 52), both do 140 damage each with double enchantments on both. And a bow that does 120 damage with soul trap.
Armor: I have both a light armor set that has about 180 DR with some decent enchantments on it, good for sneaking. My heavy set has a DR of 560, but I don't use it because: A) I love sneaking with mah bow and B) Even on master, I'm a little too powerful.

As for gameplay: About a week ago, I was hitting the 80 hour mark. In that week, I've only played about 20 hours. It's an amazing game, but it's wearing on me a little, probably because I'm playing it so much. The internet's completely screwed as of now, so I'll have more game time, but I think I need a new game as a break to this one.

About BlackReach and stuff: Wolfskull was the second coolest dungeon IMO, next to Blackreach. NOTHING in that game matches the sheer beauty and awe of Blackreach.

And God damn, Dwemer ruins can be HUGE.

    can someone explain to me the reasoning behind the dialog the thane of whiterun gives you when you ask him for something important lateish in the main story? It just seems illogical to me that;
if you persuade him it doesn't work but if you don't it does

I always tell myself I'll make another character, but because I do things so thoroughly on my first one, I usually don't follow through with it. Perhaps if I pick the game up on PC with mods in a year or two, I'd go with a two-handed barbarian.

Well my current is what I consider a Ranger (somewhat sneaky, but tankish enough to hold his own. I scout out and sharpshoot with a bow then bull rush with a one-handed and healing, abusing firebreath and unrelenting force)

Next I'll probably go with a sneak mage or a straight up heavy tank.
