Lol. I'm not complaining. Pres. is my neighbor; I said griefing but you're right, trolling is the more appropriate term. And yes, I once lost a stack of cobble, some redstone and all of my tools (iron tools, btw) when Pres. blasted me with his lightning mod. I was refunded in 2 stacks of diamonds.lol. That was on a world long since past though. I haven't logged onto the server in months.
Minecraft Wanted Poster Wouldn't it be cool if you could prank one of your Minecraft friends by putting up wanted posters? You could give them a x reward for slaying that person on video or something. Ex. XxDragonSlayerxX (pic of player) Wanted Dead Video Proof Reward: 3 Diamonds That would be awesome. I could just imagine a group of people going out to kill someone just for the diamonds. lol. And it's a great reward for people. If Minecraft were more PVP based, an insurmountably tiny fraction of me would support this. Being that people are generally (always) on a server by their own will, a wanted poster function would be sure to ward off anyone who isn't extremely dedicated to a server. Plus, a "wanted" player could easily just change his skin and hope people forget the name. Further, requiring video evidence would be a fruitless request. AND, this would be entirely honors system based for the person giving up the reward. If this were to work, there's a lot of logistics that would need to be accounted for.

WE had something like that on the GoO server for a while. And nothing stopping you from messaging other users with offers like that if everyone agrees to play that game. psionicsblade once killed Tusk on our server by mining the ground out from under him. usually though the person being killed knew it was coming because it was part of a game that TenderBisquit was running through the forums but it was still fun.
It would be fun if it wasn't completely random and it was all in good humor. Though people tend to get very pissy when all of their resources are lost.

What did you do. Use dynamite? You gotta check out some of the minecraft cities on Youtube. Crafters Canyon is pretty cool. Wish I could get on and buy a plot and make a house. BTW, does anybody know how you actually buy the plot for building in the city.
You join a server, earn whatever they are using as currency, buy plot. At least that is how it seems to work on most servers. Otherwise you could just go find an empty area that no one else is using and build your own city.
