Spoiler Of course you need a soul trap; it works just like a regular soul gem, except it will not get destroyed when used. I was using the Mace of Molag Ball to soul-trap the hell out people, and it would always say that there were no soul gems in my inventory rather than put a soul in Azura's Star. Its actually broken
It should, in theory, be able to absorb any non-black soul. Mine absorbs nothing at all, high to low.
Just started a second character for a small break as I'm getting slightly bored of my main (spell sword dunmer). My new character is a tank orc which may should be nice for a change even if I go back to the dunmer after a while.
I think I'm going to start a conjurer tomorrow; I'm thinking Conjuration with Familiars in one hand, and conjured weapons in the other, Light armour, One Handed and Restoration. Any ideas on what else I should use to round it out? I'm thinking Sneak or Alchemy, but I'm open to suggestions.
In Oblivion, I ALWAYS went with alchemy as one of my main skills. When you're looting a dungeon and you start carrying too much stuff, *BAM make a feather potion. Need a little extra kick to kill that guy, *BAM make a deadly poison or a huge strength potion. However, I know they changed the alchemy in Skyrim to where you have to be at one of those stations to make stuff, but still, I would advise alchemy. It's a very useful and flexible skill IMO.
Well, regardless of what the level cap is, I pre planned my perks for level 50 so anything beyond that is just bonus. I will have everything I really need by 50.
If anyone has completed House of Horrors, let me know where you found the priest. The three places suggested online had nothing.
Don't know, it actually brought up a little icon for me that showed me where he was. Wasn't hard at all.
That only points to a general area because his location is random. I suppose I'll find him eventually.
my redguard crusader is level 37. i have to be careful for those forsworn briarhearts. two hits from their axe and my character is dead. and those are fast hits they make. watch out folks. make sure you fus ro dah and stagger them before you go at them with your melee weapons.
Well, at least for me he was in the broken tower redoubt and in a prison cell in there. Have you gone all the way into all three locations or did you just peek your head in or something?
The game glitches so that "show on map" is wholly inaccurate, and other times the person just isn't in their usual haunts at all. Other times, it glitches so that the person you need to turn the quest into doesn't have the dialogue option, SO YOU'RE STUCK WITH THE QUEST ITEMS FOREVER, WHAT THE ****. Easily Game of the Year though.
I'm honestly laughing at my good luck, I haven't had ANY glitches pertaining to important thing in my game, only thing I had was a graphical glitch in Labyrinthian where part of the wall was invisible if I wasn't right up next to it. That is seriously all I've had for glitches.
Just started a Dark Elf One-handed Caster. 'Tis fun. I'm thinking next of doing a Khajit (I think that's how it's spelled) Hassassin. I'm REALLY loving this game. :3
