Say what you want about the graphics not looking up to par, but the level "343 Guilty Spark" is just purely visual sex.
This. Just finished this last night, when I switched between graphics on this I almost **** my pants! You guys gotta remember, Halo has never had the best graphics so I dot know what y'all were expecting? Gears or War, Battlefield 3 graphics?
I got exactly what I wanted: Halo, the way I remember it. Everything else was just a plus, but the nostalgia is still there for me. That epic Warthog run at the end of the campaign still gives me chills anytime I play it and with remastered music, graphics and effects it only seemed better. I'm thoroughly satisfied having paid 40$ for a game I originally 50$ for in 2002 and to have gotten more for it. I can't wait to see where 343i takes the series.
Anybody want to do 343 GS with me sometime this weekend? I'm on Halo but I'm most likely going to have some time this weekend to get farther into it. I never got past 343 GS in the original.....Ifail.
Anyone other than me tried 3D yet? It's actually pretty bad ass, though it makes judging distances for melee a bit harder. but once you get used to it you really get immersed in the game.
I think you're the only one with a 3DTV Waylander, lol. I actually want to try out the Kinect commands, Ill have to ask my friend to borrow his sensor.
I don't got the money for them extra D's. I'll stick to my double-D's for now, thanks. And in regards to the comment about Halo never having top-notch graphics, I don't know what you're basing that off of, H2 was supposed to be top of the line when it launched, and it was. Also, I personally think Halo: Reach is beautiful.
I just beat the CEA's campaign last night. I forgot how horribly infuriating elites, fuel rod guns, and the flood can be > Overall, it was worth the cost.
Isn't being government payed to sit on your ass fun. No I don't have a 3D TV (yet) I went to an Expo in Auckland yesterday called big boys toys where they had the game set up with it. No kinect for it though they did have it for other more retarded games (star wars kinect looks so ****ing uncordinated and horrible)
I rented this earlier on today, and obviously because I rent it, I shouldn't get the map code. Or so I thought. I asked the Chick to include the manuals, just in case. And she did. And she also might have put in the anniversary code, so I pretty much just paid 7 euro to get the maps, and to play the campaign, when I was going to pay 12 euro to get the maps anyway. Hell yeah.
Lol wow you lucky. So is anyone else checking halowaypoint every day to see if any H4 info is released? I mean, I thought now that they've got CEA out of the way that they'll start talking H4 but ****! We still know next to nothing about the game and it's supposed to be coming out in a year if not less?
Now that I think about it you guys are right. In December 09 at the VGA's was the first real trailer for Reach. Once they spilled that out, it seemed like they couldn't close the lid.
So me and my buddy were going through on legendary the other day. When we came to Two Betrayals we decided we wanted to snag all of the acheivements for this mission at once. In order to do so we needed to avoid killing any grunts and picking up any weapons, ****ing hard. After about 2 and a half hours we were finally almost done. The rest was simple, just commandeer a banshee, fly it to the nav point, go inside and emp the last pulse generator. First attempt: My buddy distracts the enemy as I sneak around and snag the ride. Right as I begin to take off I get blown up by a wraith. Second attemp: I successfully take the remaining banshee and just as I'm about to make the nav point I get banshee bombed from point blank. It just so happens that at the moment I die for the second time my buddy was walking around with no enemies in sight, causing a checkpoint to save. We were stuck, without any way to progress. Though we were going to hate it, the "Restart Mission" button had to pushed. FML.
I remember that happening in CE. My brother drove a tank off a ledge with my other brother standing on top of it (don't ask me why)... and in mid-air they got a checkpoint. Talk about terrible luck. ^but that would be much worse, skisma
For those that were wondering what the random alien language at the end of each Terminal video was: Spoiler Achievement Hunter · 11th Terminal Easter Egg
Oh yea, just got it last night. Spoiler I can't believe you're awarded one hundred ****ing thousand credits for unlocking all 11 in Waypoint. I'm finally about to be General now. And I don't really understand how any of them are related to H4.
