Did anyone go and was it any good. I didn't go because I have college courses in the morning. So I plan on picking up the game. If you did go explain what went on while you were there. If you didn't go explain your reasons why.
Yes, it was dead... Seriously, with CEA and AC out I assumed it'd at least be a little busy, but there were just 8 or so people (including me) hovering around inside the store until midnight when they opened the tills. Very disappointing, times have changed...
It's not really a major release - I imagine the midnight release for Halo 4 would be a different (and happier) story.
There were at least forty people at the one I attended. May not be astounding numbers but we all had fun kicking each others' asses I had fun kicking everyone's ass over system linked screens. Actually ended up being more fun than Reach's release.
I didn't because I am perfectly happy to wait for the game to drop in price before I buy it as I have Skyrim to occupy me for the next few months if not longer.
I didn't go because basically because it isn't anything huge, and because I had homework that took longer than the campaign would have.
