BF3: The place where I learned what a "fleshlight" is, and not anywhere else including the internet in all my 19 years.

 

frag rounds kill in 2 shots to the body, 1 in hardcore, idk how you react to that
plus it can shoot around corners and cause destruction, plus it can damage light vehicles
USAS + Frags > 870 + flechette >>>>>>>>>>> Anything with buck shot

 

When do you unlock that shotty?

 

I played some at a friends house and my team got destroyed by a guy with what I now know was one of those frag shotguns. If it's anything like BC2, explosives win in every situation. I remember the Gustav being incredibly overpowered so I'm guessing the fragshotgun is it's replacement.

Also the frag rounds were in the BC2 beta if you glitched and they were also in the campaign.

 

How I pronounce Flechette: 'flech-et'. Also I saw that USAS Frag Rounds video and was like 'I NEED'!

On another note, Im finding very hard to finish the campaign. Its almost like Im NOT ENJOYING it and just forcing myself to play it without enjoyment.

 

What difficulty are you playing on? Because it took me like 2 hours on normal.

I've been analyzing the secondary attachment slot in weapon customization.

[Flash Supressor, Heavy Barrel, Laser Sight, Supressor, Tact. Light]

I dont use Tact. Light cause its not my style and I'm decent at shooting from the hip so i dont need the Laser Sight.

Now the Supressor lowers damage at distance, bullet speed and accuracy at a distance So I've been straying away from that because i've been losing a lot of long range fights with the AEK(AR of choice) but with the SCAR-H it still doing a lot of damage and with its slower fire rate I got better avg. accuracy with it.

Now the flash supressor doesn't lower bullet speed/damage but lowers accuracy and then there is the heavy Barrel which mean over a 3 shot burst and your muzzle is shooting above the enemy head (especially with Scar at long since this gun has a lot of recoil)

So WTF should i use right now i got Scar with flash sup. and AEK with Heavy Barrel. My snipers I only use flash sup. or nothing because the lowered damage and added bullet drop with a Supressor makes it much harder to get just headshots and body shots would take too many hits.

I run AEK with Foregrip and heavy barrel, and SCAR with Holographic, Foregrip, and Heavy Barrel. I haven't done much of a comparison, but the heavy barrel seems to help me.

 

PDW-R with Holo sight, laser pointer and extended mags.

 

No hard as in im having to forcing myself to play it rather than wanting to play. Difficulty wise im playing normal and its farely easy

 

I use an M4 with the IRNV scope, foregrip, and suppressor. It works pretty well for me but I do notice myself losing some battles probably due to the suppressor. I'm about to unlock the A-91 which I hear is pretty good so ill probably be switching go that.

 

I use the suppressor for the SCAR-H simply because it is MASSIVE and looks hilarious. I don't equip anything for the third accessory for the rest of my weapons. All of the cons outweigh the pros, imo. For the other accessory slots, I usually switch off between PK-A 3.4x scope and Holo sight depending on the map, and always equip the grip for added accuracy.

P.S. M26 Mass>all other shotguns

 

Just finished the campaign and I must say I enjoyed it more than I was expecting.

 

I always go suppressor, except on MG's which I rarely use anymore.
Not showing up on the minimap is very very useful, if I'm rolling with a shotgun I'll carry a G18 supp.

 

I finished the Fance mission the other day and haven't played since, how many more do I have?

 

my scar-h is IR, grip and supp. i like it

 

Most of you aren't working with the strengths of your guns. For instance, slapping a heavy barrel on a gun that shoots 900 rpm just isn't the best idea.
