Thanks guys. Its a slow WIP.

 

Not the point. I have a sucky laptop that can barely run the game, but I already own an xbox. I didn't buy the xbox for the game, I prefer playing xbox over PC and therefore I'm buying it on the xbox.

The PC version is better because Mods and Texture Packs.

 

Well, you never know what they are doing on the Xbox,so they may be implementing some kind of editor so you can have your own skin, or make your own texture pack, which would be awesome.

 

So, I just now set up my own personal SMP server. I feel cooler than before. Also, I put my underground city I've been working on on it.

 

I can haz ip? And what version of minecraft is it on?

I've seen you talk a whole lot about your underground city in this thread, you'ved piqued my interest.

 

Good question, I access it by typing localhost in the ip. Obviously that won't work for you, let me figure it out and I'll pm you the ip.

Also, it is on 1.8

just an assumption, but since Im hosting the server on the same computer I'm playing on, the ip should be the same for both, correct?

 

I would like to see this so called "Underground City" too, sir...

once I can get BT to confirm that I gave him the correct ip to get on the server I can fling you guys so pms with the ip as well.

I like how everyone is saying "underground city" like they doubt its size or something. It is underground, and it is very much a city. You'll see, well... hopefully.

also @BT, I will probably turn the server back on at like 12pm PST. So, yeah, hoping that I gave ya the right ip this time.

I will also explain the pics in order:

1. unfinished side of... area im on right now.
2. finished side of same place.
3. stairs from very bottom to the 2nd floor.
4. view of the center pillar and bridge with vines.
5. birds eye of finished side. (those all are houses/rooms)
6. the freezer, someone thought it was a good idea to carve a maze in the ice inside. (me)
7. random part of ice maze, no spoilers for the solution.
8. the normal city that is built directly on top of all of this.

Additionally, I set up a link so you can download the version of the texture pack I use if you intend on checking it out in person (if we can get that to work.) All I did was change the Iron block and Gold block textures, along with the textures for ores.

EDIT: one last thing, if you feel like you want to see something better in screenshots (not in person) then let me know, I'll take more screenshots. If you want to see it in person thats fine too, we'll just have to get all the details worked out since I'm new to hosting a server. Though, currently the hours that my server will be up and operating will be from 12pm-5pm PST (guaranteed, I will turn it on when Im actually on at other times as well), I think thats what I will keep it like, just so BT or others get a chance to check it out when I give the ip out more.

EDIT 2: I decided to just jump around all my port forwarding problems and make the server on hamachi. Soooo... I hope you guys have or are willing to go the extra 2 minutes to setup a hamachi account to check it out. I will pm details if they are wanted still.
