Out of interest? What kind of characters do you guys plan on creating? I'm still working on mine, but i'll let you know.
Just for epic lulz, and what may be super fun time, I want a character that's pretty much just Legolas from LOTR. Or a tanked Battle Mage. Thing is though, the game looks like it's super easy to just change your character style on the go, this time. Maybe I wont be having seperate saves for each character at all.
As with previous titles, I'll be using a Dark Elf who employs stealth, a bow, and swords as primary means of killing.
this with a redguard. mix things up a bit. my main skills will be: sneak archery one-handed illusion light armor destruction
I'm probably going to be sneaky as ****... hopefully i won't take the easy way out like i did in oblivion and have 100% chameleon... idk if that's even an option in skyrim
Depends how you're doing it, and how much you like stealth. If there's Chameleon, and you end up going 100%, then **** yeah it's going to be boring. But the Stealth system has been seriously upped since Oblivion, and some of the stealth gameplay makes me really want to create a stealthy character too. God damn this game is going to be good. I know for a fact my local gamestop has some copies now. I tried to convince my friend who works in there to give me one early, but to no avail.
i dont understand why dark elves dont get any bonuses to one handed or archery in this game, when theyre supposed to be known for their balance of sword/bow/destruction. thats why im gonna go redguard for my stealth class. +10 one handed, +5 archery, +5 destruction. sneak, illusion, and light armor i can easily grind up if i really feel the need.
- Khajiit (stealth) - One handed, archery, restoration, alchemy, light armor, sneak. ^ Was my character in Oblivion, however my character from oblivion had 200 sneak and 300 + speed and agility.
Argonian water breathing, all the way. If you're playing a storyline based on dragons you might as well play a character that looks like a dragon...
i guess i am reminiscing but still, i do and always have preferred argonians to all other races in the game.
Waterbreathing is still present for Argonians in Skyrim from what I understand. In addition to resist disease 50% and histskin, where the user regenerates health tenfold for about 60 seconds (once per day). Oh, and: +10 Lockpicking +5 Alteration, light armor, pickpocket, restoration, and sneak.
