The game was leaked almost a week ago for the xbox. The game requires steamworks to play, so it was never leaked for the PC.
I hate leaks. I'd prefer if that info was just released by bethesda, not ruined for everyone that accientally reads a non spoiler'd post...
I dont think the one i posted was really a leak. I think it bethesda gave that website a copy for review and they decided to put videos up now.
Yeah, most leak streams suck. And the guy was talking about how everyone should buy the game, and never mentioned leaks. Not to mention the fact that Zenimax has come down on every single stream of the game I've seen, except this one. You'd think they'd be asked to take it down, unless of course the copy was given out solely for this purpose. Strange, Zenimax had a sissy fit when videos of New Vegas were released, and that was 3 days AFTER the release... Anyway, I'd suggest watching that walkthrough if you aren't going dark until Friday. It shows off quite a lot, and it's making me (somehow) even more hyped.
I'm not going to watch any early videos or read any info about leaked copies at all. I want to find things out for myself, not have some bozo show me everything there is to know about the game before I've even played it. That would defeat the purpose for me.
This. I really get into RPGs, so knowing anything about what's going to happen takes some of the fun out of it. I'm also forcing myself to restrain from playing Oblivion like some of my friends and just plunge headfirst into Skyrim instead of acclimating myself back into the Elder Scrolls waters.
I decided to pre-order a copy from a local games retailer rather than order a copy online, the wait would have killed me. Sure, I spent nearly half as much more on what I would have spent online, but I just don't think I could wait another two weeks before I get to play it. Plus, for pre-ordering, I got the cloth map and two Elder Scrolls novels that look like interesting reads. One of them is set between Oblivion and Skyrim, but I can't remember what the other one is about. I think it's just another random story with something to do with Elder Scrolls. Will be good to read them when I'm unable to play my Xbox or want a break from playing games for a little while. And also, I learned that the street date may be broken, so I may get a copy tomorrow or Thursday. I'm excite! I'm in the same boat, I like going into things without prior knowledge because I like surprises, and if I don't know it's coming, the surprise is that much better.

Chances are I'll be able to pick it up tomorrow (Wednesday) or Thursday afternoon after I finish work. So, considering the time zone differences, I'll have it before most people on here! I have it pre ordered and paid off, and I have full permission from my mother to take Friday off If I want to, because I've been doing so well in school, but the thing is that I'd have no way to pick up the game until 4pm that day, which is the same time I get off school, so I've decided to just go and pick it up after school. I knew this'd happen the minute you posted the stream, so I downloaded as many of the episodes as I could using real player. I'd re upload them, but my internet absoultely sucks for uploading so it'd be a waste of time. Friday is going to be one hell of a day. I'm trying to free up my entire weekend to play it as much as possible. Looks like another sleepless weekend. At least there's a good reason this time.
