This map was made on Foundry. This map is good for every gametype but territories. It's also made for 4-12 players. This is more of a Team oriented gametype map, CTF, Assault, Team Slayer, Team Oddball, Infection, etc. This is the first map I've made from scratch so obviously this is version one. It also comes with it's own special gametypes called : Raid the Tower (duh). The first gametype is Team Slayer. Basically, you hold the tower, and protect the machine gunner from getting killed. You carry shotguns and assault rifles with infinite ammo (grenades aren't infinite, but are around the map(all four types)). You will respawn near the base your originally spawned in. It's also first to 75 to win. Might I add that the team in the lead does only 90% damage, NOT 90% less damage. This is so every time you play, you have a close game till the end. The second gametype is KOTH. The hill spawns on top of the base and in order to win, you need to stay in the hill for 250 seconds (I wish I could make it longer). This gametype has the exact same everything else like the regular slayer gametype (weapons, extras, etc). For the regular gametypes, it has many different weapons to add for variety. It includes: RL, Splazer, Sniper, Shotgun, BR, Carbine, Magnum, PP, PR, AR, SMG, Spiker, Needler, Brute Shot, Mauler, Chaingun, P Grenades, F Grenades, Firebombs (very few), and S Grenades. Power-ups include: Active Camo and Overshield. Equipment Includes: 1 of each except the Tripmine. Vehicles include: Mongeese. Side A Side B Heavy Weapon Spawns The Tower I would like to say that some of the map has been edited after I've taken the pictures, but not much. I know there is no interlocking, but I hope it won't be too criticized on that. I made this map way before I knew about interlocking. If this map gets good remarks, I'll have to redo it to make it better. Anyways, enjoy. Download Map Team Slayer Gametype KotH Gametype
Sadly no. I was going to have an inside of the tower, but I didn't have enough knowledge on how to make an inside. Although if this map makes a good amount of publicity, I will make an updated version and include an inside to the tower, as for now, sadly no. I'm terribly sorry.
I think you should go back and touch it up if you want it to gain attention. Interlock it (of course), and to make the base have an inside, place walls outside the existing double boxes you've placed. Do that but leave some small openings for doorways. Back up the upper layers so that they are above the walls, not in front of them. Delete the double boxes and it'll be hollow inside. Add a couple of bridges or stairs within to access the top and voila, you have an interior to the tower. I'd also reccomend changing the bases and the terrain in front of the tower, it seems too simple. Good luck if you do decide to redo it.
Well like I said, if people continue to say it's a good idea, I'll most likely remake it. Right now I'm busy with my fourth map.
Though this map is not interlocked it looks very organized. I have played it a few times and find it to be enjoyable and entertaining. Good map juggernaut, keep up the great work.
INTERLOCK! Lol Looks okay, some areas, of course do need interlocking but it looks like it might play better than some of the super interlocked maps. ANd is that rocket and a laser, sitting next to each other? OMG, terrible idea
I personally don't feel that maps NEED interlocking to be good. If it's good without interlocking, then it's good. It looks good though. I think that the next version will be great.
Well I can't see how this looks nice... But anyway, to the OP. You need to check out the ForgeHub 101 tips. Learn how to interlock then try and come up with something new. Something unseen. This is an average BNet map... 1/5
Reynbow, you should at least remember me by now. And like I've said, if it gets good remarks like it's a good idea, I'll remake it with tons of interlocking. I'm almost a pro now, I'll just have to touch it up a bit. Nothing I can't do, just a little busy at the moment on another map. But anyways, thanks for the comments guys. I'll add this on my list of remakes. Version 2 will be on it's way when I'm not too busy. Edit: Yes I did edit the screenshots. I like to enhance the saturation of the pictures to bring out the colors. I guess that is what Foundry looks like with better colors.
