Nobody cares. Irrelevant. That would get boring playing firefight. Da-herp-a-derp tl;dr Im better than you
If you're gonna try to burn me, at least look at the right place to see how many times I've used the target locator... suck it... Nice try herp-a-derp. I'm also not the guy criticizing others for using shortcuts, when you yourself used a shortcut to max out your commendations... and the point of this entire thread is about the best/quickest methods of completing challenges.
They definitely jacked up the value of the weekly challenge for this week. I think previously it was worth about 5k or less.
343's jacking up the values of all the challenges. 3200 for 120 enemies in firefight... 2000 for a spree in firefight. I like it. I don't actually play the game too much anymore so the extra boost helps me since I'm almost out of the "real" ranks.
Meh, the value is jacked up but overall the challenges are taking longer to get. I dun have that time.
The past few that I've noticed haven't been any more time-consuming than in the past. Granted, I haven't been on much in the past few weeks.
Well i only get time on the weekends, maybe one game on a thursday, so from what I have seen, they are a little more time consuming.
I was fortunate to get Overlook as my first Firefight Arcade map today, so knocked out 3 challenges in one game. Then it took another 2 Arcade games to knock out the Hyper Lethal Vector challenge, which also gave me my tenth daily for the weekly challenge. Couldn't have planned it much better than that.
Got the 9 kill challenge done today in SWAT, which is all I've been playing for the past several days because I'm trying to keep a constant amount of kills for the weekly challenge , (300 kills/7 days = 43 kills per day) Anyone notice all the 2343 credit challenges, all ending in 343. The end is nigh.
Is the weekly even possible this week? I didn't know there was a ff playlist that allowed more than one set. Also ff limited is gone which makes me sad.
It's meant to be done in custom firefight, Not matchmaking. So you can use a unlimited ammo, invincible, etc gametype and Sign in guest, to easy. Make sure you play more then 4 sets because the challenge unlocks a couple minutes into the 5th set, so if the rules are set to 4sets(so it quits after the 4th set) then it might not unlock the challenge and waste your time.
Yeah I had it set to 4 sets and it didn't give it to me. Set every enemy as a hunter so there's fewer enemies and it goes quicker.
I thought that might be it but didn't think they would make it that easy. I already have a gametype with all hunters and damage set so the AR kills in ~5 shots, and no drop ships so they spawn quickly. This will probably take less time than a normal ff game. I really want ff limited back. Doubles is good too but it's not firefight with just two people.
Not really the thread for firefight playlist discussion but I think FF limited was removed because of low numbers and the low numbers where because FF limited had a set/time limit and it had a set/time limit because you could gain credits purely from game length and if there wasn't a game length you could gain way to many credits. So I wouldn't mind if they added FF limited back removed game length credits and removed game set/time limits so you could go on as long as you could survive. It would give you credits for kills and the longer the game lasted the more credits you got but it still wouldn't be the best credit/time ratio so there is no worrying about it been abused. And most importantly that's what I've wanted from firefight since ODST. Also if they ever use "Endure:The return" weekly challenge again they can make it in matchmaking with this playlist so no one can cheat and actually be a challenge.
I love when the thursday firefight challenges can be completed in one match. 8 minutes on corvette..... 13,000 cR
You can't see them in game. Just create them on halowaypoint.com. Once you've finished them and the timer has run out you get your credits.
As far as I know, they can only be created here. Once you complete them, you can either "turn-in" the completed challenge at the same webpage or via your Waypoint profile on your 360. As far as I can tell about the custom challenges, lowering the time limit does increase the payout a bit. I'll usually create my custom challenges right before I start playing. Depending on what I'm playing... if it's firefight matchmaking, I'll create two challenges... 875 firefight matchmaking medals/4 hours = 10,000 cR 875 firefight matchmaking kills/4 hours = 10,000 cR Otherwise I'll create something like 100 kills/100 medals within 4 hours in normal matchmaking fpr 3.789 cR each.
For the kill enemies in any game mode I would create your own firefight game where you get bottomless clip infinite ammo fuel rod and infinite health. Put all grunts and go to courtyard.
