Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen, to The Guild. The Guild is a group of people dedicated to play-testing, reviewing, and improving maps from the community. In the past Forge Hub has had separate guilds, something we hope to rectify, streamline, and if at all possible improve upon here. Striving for simplicity, we hope to bring something to the table for everyone that wishes to join, whomever they maybe. Be you a finely skilled wordsmith, crafting the English langue into a loving tale of an adventure spent upon a map, or just a total bro who loves playing custom maps. We need everyone to take part, because their is a part for everyone. So no matter your prior experience or lack thereof with any Forge Hub Guild, feel free to try out the waters. I promise, we won't bite. Hard. Ranks Here in the guild, in an effort to keep things simple, the membership groupings have been compressed into only the essentials. Once you're part of the Guild, that's it, there's no social latter to climb, no ranks to worry about. Removal from the guild only occurs after an extended period of absence. Entrance Member [Rank Image N/A] The beginning stages, where everyone must pay their dues to become a full-fledged member. Non-members must apply here, and then follow the process from there. Entrance members are expected to attend tests, assist in duties such as providing in-game feedback, and generally prove that they intend to become part of the fold. Requirement for Advancement: An Entrance Member must assist in testing ten maps, without full members finding fault in his actions. There is no time-limit for these ten maps. Current Members: 1. [member] 2. [member] 3. [member] Guild Member [Rank Image] The workforce of The Guild, members who have attended their preliminary testing sessions, and have proven their willingness to test maps. These members are the arms and legs of this community, and should be remembered as such. Members are required to attend tests, assist in weekly custom lobbies, and generally keep a classy attitude throughout the forums and Xbox live. There are, once again, no time-limits on tests to be completed. Members here have the ability to earn one point per map tested, to be put to use in the Guild Store. Requirement for Advancement: While not specifically an advancement, members will be able to write full and detailed reviews for maps if they wish to. To do so, they must first apply with a fully written review here following the guidelines shown here. After this has been completed, and the applicant certified, they will be able to write full reviews on a continuing basis, and earn five points for each of these. [member] [3rd number of points] Guild Leader [Rank Image] Guild Leaders are the overseers of The Guild. They keep track of points, member's positions, and current events in The Guild. Leaders are required to review maps, set up weekly testing sessions and assist other members around the forums. There is no straight line of ascent into this position, as the members of this rank are only chosen when they are needed, from the Guild Member rank. Current Members: 1. [member] 2. [member] Points In an effort to streamline the ranking system with as few ranks as possible, we've also removed a large portion of the incentive to "rank up", so to speak. That's where Points come in - for every map that members help test you receive one point, and for every full review that members complete they receive five points. These Points may be spent on perishable, but stackable, rewards. The current listing of points are found by member in this thread.
