That's a pretty huge leap you're making, but you can if you want. I just know that after my first claymore death, assuming it even occurs, I would change up my approach.
After unlocking claymores, I can confirm that you can only place two before they start replacing eachother. Also, you can only hold one at a time, meaning after you place a claymore, you have to refill your ammo to place another one.
Can somebody explain how to aim the Mortar? I want to know how I keep getting killed by them with pinpoint accuracy, but I don't want to unlock them.
It's okay though, because nobody ever marks ****ing targets for you to see with the radar on it anyway. Also, snipers, why you get nerfed?!
The spoting system is terrible on the new BF :/ I hate mortars as well, it's WAY too easy to get kills with it... It should either have no radar, making it practically redundant or make the firing rate 5x slower and slightly increase the splash damage so if you do hit someone, you kill them. It'd be better than it's ridiculous supression + damage rate it has at the moment... especially since it's like the old artillery gun from BFBC1, except faster...
more people on FORGEHUB platoon NAO. anyways im about to unlock the mortar. although i do think its OP solely on the basis of infinite ammo otherwise your are almost constantly painted on the minimap and your defenseless inside the mortar animation. A 1/2 way decent team will send two o take u out and repeat every few minutes. A good team sets up a base around the mortar with snipers and some assaults attacking. then thats another story especially with the SOFLAM and a jet with laser guided missles.
Link. Also, the mortar is pretty great even with it's limitations, but I think it's balanced. On rush it's ridiculous, you can constantly spam the area around the points to break up the defenses they have set up, or if you're on defense you can constantly fire at key ways to the point or the point itself to mess up attackers. Also, my friend was getting angry that nobody was painting targets, so I grabbed a shotgun class and sprinted through the map marking targets while he dropped bombs on my location and anything I marked for him. It adds an extra crazy layer, and just makes it that much more fun to play with friends.
I managed to drive a HUMVEE of the cliff on Damavand Peak. I landed flat without taking damage. It was the most fun I had in the game so far.
I wanted to try that, lol. I was going to jump out and parachute down. I figured it would be a pretty decent distraction.
The Barrett is pretty damn awesome, even though it's the .338 Lapua and not the .50 BMG. minimal bullet drop and bullet lead make it dead on up to 150ish metres.
Anybody know of somewhere I can find detailed weapons stats? Trying to figure out my favorite gun by guess and test is all well and good, but I would like to know the differences between some of the guns. Also, what is the deal with headshots? Do some classes have protection or what? I was 20 feet from some guy lying prone, I took aim at his head with my Reflex Scope, and fire two 870MCS slugs into his face, but got no hit markers.
I applied to join the platoon... like 3 times. Sorry for the triple post, but accept me so we can start wreckin ****
It says that they don't do much damage but they are good at suppression. Were you expecting people to explode upon being shot? And this is the guy that said mortar strikes were cheating.
