This game really does blow at setting up. Origin has to be the worst system ever produced by mankind. I've had to verify the damn game about 8 times... as soon as i installed it, I had to patch it... it's finally installed and patched and ready, but wait: It has to validate again. So I can't even play single player! I wish I'd bought it on xbox so I could have at least played the campaign while I waited for the servers to come online :'(
I have decided that I don't like how vehicles become disabled before blowing up completely. A man sitting in an **** of jeep and fire should not be able to shoot me repeatedly with the turret.
Javelin his ass to Mars. Just got a headshot on Davamand(?) Peak, he was at the BaseJump, I was on the cliff, 200m away from one of the Rush objectives. d = 298m [br][/br]Edited by merge: Servers are dooooooooooowwwwn
Now we cant play online together EDIT: WHAT THE CRAP? Why do I have to update the game the day after i buy it!! **** it, hd content installing and then campaign time.
That update's been there since Tuesday, I think all it did was undo everything they did to the servers on the Beta.
Here's a more in-depth look at the texture differences on the 360. Battlefield 3: With and without the Xbox 360 texture install - YouTube EDIT: Just got the EOD bot, **** is hard to drive. And did anybody notice this? I lol'd heartily.
Are the servers still down on xbox? i still cant get a match. And im a bit confused on how origin works. I have a account and i can log in but i cant log into battle log. how do we fix that?
Servers were up all day for me, and I have no idea how to log into the BattleLog. Are the headshot distances broke for anyone else? I keep getting 229m, even when they're behind the objective which is 300m away.
Well i can't find any severs still and when i go to quick match it disconnects each time. Connection lost to EA. This happened to me with Bf bc2 for a while its annoying as hell.
Its set to Australia but atm cant even connect to EA at all. This happened to me in BFbc2 It would just lock me out of multiplayer
Claymores break this game so bad. "Oh, hey, let's let them have these proximity mines with no indicator whatsoever so people can get guaranteed kills by placing them around corners, at the top of stairs, behind small cover, etc. Oh, and we should also let the Support class use it so that they can have an infinite supply. We wouldn't want them to have to be strategic or stingy with these all-powerful devices of death, now would we?" That's the only way they could have thought that up. There is no logic whatsoever in allowing the support class to have claymores, and very little in having them in the game to begin with. I'm starting to wonder why I even play BF since obviously DICE cares more about satisfying CoD players than fans of their previous games. There are just so many things to whine and complain about in this game, and I keep telling myself that it's the overall gameplay that is so awesome and fun, but is it really?
Try using the server browser. I haven't been killed b a claymore yet and I really can't find anything to complain about multiplayer-wise except the server problems. And if claymores are like C-4 then you can only place a certain amount, and if you place more you will begin to remove previously placed claymores.
You can walk past claymores if you're slow enough, unlike the CoD version. Sounds like you're just being reckless.
I've been unlocking attachments for the M98B sniper. I now have it equipped with a holographic sight, a straight-pull bolt, and a tactical flashlight. Also anyone neglecting the MAV is seriously missing something stellar. It sees in infrared, has a built in motion sensor, and can destroy enemy equipment including C4, AT mines, claymores, mobile spawn points, T-UGS and even EOD bots. Anyone who had fun roadkilling players with the UAV in BC2 will have fun with this gadget. Im starting to get messages from angry payers claiming that I'm not playing the game right (you know, owning their ass with a ****ing tiny flying machine).
