A little something I have been working on. Carved is built in the canyon just outside the cave and it hooks around to the rocky bay. I am hoping it will be reminiscent of danger canyon. The two bases are pretty identical and there is a center tower where the action will converge. Kill zones keep you where you should be when flying the Falcon.

I hope to have this well tested soon so I can post it. It's a fun map and I think you will like it.

    Thanks for taking a peek!

Whew, these bases look fairly nice but very unapproachable. It looks like anyone in the base could use the high ground and lack of ground cover to decimate with any precision weapon (which I desperately hope everyone will have.) You really need to work on ways for infantry to get into the bases easier and less seen. Make sure most spots can only see one or two directions they can be coming from, and also put less places to shoot down from in the first place. The teleports may also become campy with this situation, so I think good paths are going to be abetter solution.

Look at many old maps with large bases like high ground and last resort. Though they have large, good lines of sight, to get better ones you have to expose yourself more, and no spot can see everything.

Also, I think the dice look kind of silly. If they are an easter egg you really can't live without, hide them much better so they won't be seen unless the map is basically broken.

Thanks again your suggestions will be taken into consideration. While I think the bases look sleek, they are foreboding and I can see that people may have a hard time getting up there. I may need to add some more access points to get to the upper level. The very top level may be too high too as you mentioned. I might need to loose the high ground there.

I put the two six dice in every map I publish, but that is a pretty obvious place. I don't wanna totally hide them either though. I will find a more subtle place for them.

Thanks for your feedback. I think this has the possibility of being a really great map if I can work out the kinks.

Depending on how you constructed the bases, it may be possible to make a flank route wrapping around the coastline (though admittedly it'd be pretty long).

Or using teleporters and the cave a 'back passage' (lol) entrance. Kinda like a tunnel dug through the cliff.

Yeah nice looking map but as for the bases think avalanche. Yep, teleporters. Go, go, go. Keep up the solid effort.

Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions guys. I did use teleporters for a back entrance, but I used the tunnel in the island instead of the cave.

I also nixed the uppermost level of the bases and made them a soft kill zone and added a few more access points to the top of the bases. I will play test the map tonight with some friends and see how it goes. If all goes well i will try to post this for download soon.
