I love forging, but i can't test my maps, as I'm a swede and not many of my friens play reach. So my question for all of you non-americans how you test your maps?

Do they not allow xbox live there or something? I've had no trouble connectig to a lot of people in other parts of the world to test my maps or theirs.

I find people in matchmaking to test my maps. It helps to tell them that you will play a variety of infection maps if they stay until after the testing session.

Not sure how reliable they are since I resigned earlier this year, but SoS is running the crew still so I'm sure he's keeping them in shape;)

Like everyone else, except I have to stay up late to wait for the american people to come online. We should get a european testing night organised.

Overdoziz (from the Netherlands) plays with my customs group every week. I assume he just stays up much later than the rest of us. Or gets up really early. Or something - my grasp of time zones is bad.

Well, when it's like 6 in the US, it's 12 here in Sweden, and I'm also bound by school and stuff, that's why it's so hard.

Testers Guild is usually the best way to get things tested if you're not in the same time-zone as the rest of the Hub. Either that, or stay home from school/work. I happened to catch Confused Flamingo online not that long ago and managed to get in on a test session with a lineup of pretty much all Hubbers. It was around midday on a Saturday for me though, so I'm guessing it would have been Friday night for pretty much everyone else.

A testers night seemed like a good idea so I started this thread just now.

Sort of like you don't want to see how they make sausage lest you never want to eat it again?

Seriously, you should join a group and get on when they are on. ReachingPerfection.com is one group (the one I am part of). There are others. Some people try to organize their own group to do just what you are trying to do, but the faster route is get into an existing group that has many people already.

Another idea is find someone who tests regularly (or has friends that ask him to join testing regularly). They can invite you when they are testing and you can have your turn at testing your map.

These are what I found to work best.
