There's enough footage out there to check if you think it's worth it or not. If you're not convinced yet I doubt any other footage will do the trick.
That would be cannibalism, something I approve of. I have a Halo fanboy friend who doesn't plan on getting LIVE, so he's giving me the big map pack for $3.50, provided that it's a DLC and doesn't come on the game. Please oh please let it be a DLC.
I didn't mean to say that he didn't what I meant to say is that you didn't see him long enough. Personally the fact that you just see him in a pod is kind of cutting the game short. However I must say that most of the forge maps in Reach had less forge capacity compared to maps in Halo 3. Thus Halo CEA additional maps will make a fine edition to the game. Also it will be kind of exciting to play the game in 3D (that is if it the game comes with glasses. I don't need a 3D TV). However I am a little worried about the kinect voice commands.
Is there something I've missed with 3D in video games? I just assumed "3D Mode" would require a 3D TV (which require their accompanying 3D glasses). I can't imagine them putting in red/cyan 3D. That would be along the lines of letting you use those Kinect features using a headset (seeing as they are mostly voice commands). Anyway, I did preorder it last week but cancelled it today. Yes, of course I'll buy it eventually, I'm just not desperate to get it on "day one" (well, its second day one).
Pretty much every game that's come out for consoles lately that has a "3D" mode doesn't use a anaglyph... AKA You need a 3D TV, the glasses won't do it.
I don't think it cut the game short at all. the focus of the game is noble team, and the sacrifice they made to get chief and cortana off the planet. These few spartans we knew nothing prior to reach's release about made all of MC's awesomeness in halo 1-3 possible. thats what I love about it, he's just a small mention when he's usually the main show. Like they are saying "This character that is as big as life owes this small group his life". But I know some people were just disappointed with it, can't convince you lol Back on topic. It may have little replay value as a campaign, but I'm still preordering it. And if that makes me a halo fanboy, well I think the above paragraph already made that patently obvious. Replaying those classic maps on xbox live and getting achievements makes it worth the 40 bucks for me.
I don't know about you but I have had it for about ten years now. and get this, mine even has multiplayer!
I play Halo Custom Edition with friends at least once a week, when Reach gets boring, there is a wide amount of user created maps to play on. I played Halo one campaign multiple times, I'm in no hurry for the remake though. I can wait, so no preorder for me.
