Well, I was giving my opinion about MW3 on a BF3 thread because they're being compare so much on every gaming outlet and community. Game Informer has a spread debating the 2 games and xplay even did a segment. Its becoming a competition where "the best shooter" wins, and I believe BF3 is a better game but we all know MW3 will sell more only through sheer popularity...
Saigas and USAS-12s are for the weak. Pump action is the right way to go. Flint-lock rifles are the best way to go. (To continue this subject, and to state something that is painfully obvious) It's like comparing two species of finch. One is a ground dwelling finch with a beak adapted for consuming large, harder seeds, while the other finch is adapted to living above ground in trees and eats smaller, softer seeds. However similar in context (fictional present day settings and selection of firearms), both shooters occupy different playstyle niches and therefore in my opinion cannot be fairly compared. Argumentatively CoD: MW3 presents itself as a carbon copy of MW2, however MW3 will still rate high because of its classic formula and over-the-top cinematics. Both games will continue to be successful as long as gamers subscribe to each title. P.S. who the **** cares about realism? It's a goddamn video game. If you want real gunplay go visit a shooting range.
So, is Dice done with the beta or are the servers just overloaded? Because I have not been able to get past the main screen for a few hours now. I was kinda sad because I wanted to have some fun on the last night!
I never got it but I can assume that becos of the Saiga's automic functionality it will become my weapon of choice with 12 Gauge Slugs and 4x Scope when I unlock it in the final game.
I owned any room I set myself up in with thr M249 with a bipod, thermal, and extended mag. Also used the suppression specilization which really left my targets helpless.
I might buy the game for that. It would be so much fun to fire the gustav down on people if it's included in the bf3
Okay, let's talk about knifing. I think it bullshit that it takes multiple hits to the front of a player to kill him. Did that guy in the Shining keep walking around after he got an axe to his chest? Hell no. What I do enjoy is the 300 point bonus for killing someone with your knife. That's sweet.
It's because they don't want anymore knee-jerk instakills like you have in CoD or even Bad Company 2. Plus, there's no disputing who struck first when you can only instakill through the animation.
