Wow Beautiful map man i love that twisty column and good use of capture plates and flag stands to make the sun and the all seeing eye! Looks like it would be a very hectic CTF map you should set it up for ctf, the map feels like it needs a shotgun too or some sort of cqc weapon. overall i give it a 9/10!

This looks AMAZING! I like the layout and you used the space so efficiently. My main concern is the lack of weapon diversity. Myabe put one sniper in the middle of the map so there isn't one person hogging all the sniper ammo from the other. Maybe put a needler or a plasma rifle in, because there is no automatic weapons, unless that's you goal. I say 8/10.

man this map is very sexy! this has got to be the most colorful map ive seen in a while. the twisty colums are very cool but i could posibly see a little bit of framerate lag? other than that this map looks awesome. downloading now.

I'm going to guess that the twisty column will cause a lot of lag/flicker, and the actual elements of decor themselves seem kinda...disparate. Individually not at all bad, but kinda random when taken in as a whole.
    Also...um...did you mean Illuminated?

Incredibly cool looking Map but try to change the Weapons. Throw in a Plasma Pistol, Needle Rifle, delete 1 Sniper and also add a Shotgun cause i think that as of now with this Weapon layout combat situations would be very repetitive.

nothing on this map is random. the weapon choice, symbolism, and placements are all quite deliberate. the column creates zero lag, download and see for yourself. working on support for ctf and assault gametypes. might add a few more weapons into the mix, probably just mag and AR pickups though.

I DL'd a while ago and I don't see how this map is modded. Also, the column in the middle surprisingly does not have any framerate issues, but if there were 4 people playing, this might be a different case.

If that is what you think, but I'd rather see for myself. I'll edit this post once I get a 2v2 going.

glad your diggin the race, antlers. added that as an afterthought. working on smoothing the tunnels out in race but progress is slow. expect a much cleaner racing experience in v3.0. thanks for the support fellas.

yeah, i've been getting alot of that. this map is not modded in any way. i challenge anyone to rip it apart and prove otherwise. don't hate, till you investigate.

Is there a tutorial on how to make curved bridges like that? But this is fun for 2v2, well at least that's what I played it with. I like the rock tunnels, even though you used a lot of sea stacks it looks really natural,I love it.

You spelled "illuminated" wrong, sir. And while I'm sure you meant to do that, it just makes you seem illiterate.

Anyways, the map looks pretty cool. I like the interesting layout, colors, and aesthetics. The people calling out lag on that spiral column clearly don't understand that the lag caused from object density is only present when they are on the same x/y coordinate, Twisting objects like that has little to no FL impact.

As for the whole, "did you mod it?" question, I believe some people are simply wondering if you used the "natural" objects mod that gives you about 200 more natural pieces to work with. There are mods for Wall/Window and Toy pieces as well.

nade, as in grenade. its a pun, a clever one. the fact that was lost on you says more about you then me. but that's fine, you can call me illiterate if you want.

Thanks, i spent alot of time and effort on this, 9 months in fact. so thats nice to hear.

all they would have to do is load up the map and it would be immediately apparent. i don't appreciate people hating on my work with no just reason. i could understand someone not liking the way the column looks. but saying it lags without actually investigating is just childish.

i have seen modded maps around. yet, again. all they would have to do is boot up my map and delete a seastack to see that this is not a mod. the game gives us 50 rocks and that is what i used.

    thanks for the comments.

Oh trust me, I got it right away, but it was so lame that I thought I'd give you the benefit of the doubt by assuming it was a typographical error. Also, it says a lot about you when you call your own pun clever (especially when it isn't. At all.).
