Chuck, DrawingMan, BT and Myself beat the last chapter on 4 player insane (all of us on insane)... it only took 4hrs 40minutes and 32 seconds. We finished at around 9.45am. I've never felt more accomplished in beating a ridiculously hard level. And its also nice to know i will never have to play that evil evil level on insane ever again.
i've been like a paranoid schizo ever since i keep thinking palace guards are on my flanks while i do my everyday activities. im eating macaroni and cheese and every time i blink i get flashbacks and im like "****ING PALACE GUARDS GO AWAY IM TRYING TO EAT MY MACARONI"
palace guard isnt a spoiler. its just an enemy type. the elite theron guards, they were in the previous games.
oooooooh. Anyhow, beast mode is pretty neat. tho it becomes stupid easy when you are able to unlock the beserker.
I ****ing love beast mode. I go from wrentch, beast rider, corpser/serapede, and then the motherfucking berserker! I ****ing love using that *****! Anywho, anyone wanna try to get to lvl 50 in horde with me?

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but I thought I would share it anyway. If you look at the Horde leaderboards (which are tracked per map), there are three maps that haven't been released yet: Azura, Blood Drive, and Rustlung. I would assume these will be in the first DLC pack. I was never as big of a fan of Blood Drive as everyone else in Gears 2 seemed to be, but I'm excited to see how it will play in Gears 3.
yeah i really wish they would bring back Jacinto level. But i will settle for Blood drive for now... But i sure really want Escalation back. Love sniping on that map.
i hated jacinto, blood drive was alright. if they were to bring back any map, id want canals or raven down. or fuel depot. or war machine. definitely canals would be my number one choice. raven down would be cool with the new gnasher and no host advantage.
wow i cant believe i forgot about canals yeah. What do you think the theme would be since in 2 it was snow and 1 it was water
It would probably be desolate and have a wasteland feel to it. As Cole says "Hey, the whole world looks like this." Anyone want to play some campaign? I want to get the 4-player co-op achievement, but my friends with Gears 3 are never online at the same time, and no one ever joins my public games (seriously, I played the whole campaign on Insane by myself yesterday because not a single person ever joined). I have the Instagib Melee, Super Reload, and Infinite Ammo mutators if that will help influence you. PEER PRESSURE!
Ill add you i also got all the mutators. Ive done 4 player insane in the First level and last Two levels without the mutators but i could be talked into replaying them with you. Add me ill be back on gears in like 4 hrs im uploading my first gears video to youtube so i cant do both without gamebreaking lag.
I reckon they'll bring back canals, that map was always a blast. Blood Drive is alright, had fun playing Annex on it in Gears 2, but the capture point always seemed to spawn in the grenade spawns. I'm tempted to do a four player play through on insane, all the hard mutators on. What do you think?
i played this game a bunch at a friends house tonite. it was a lot of fun and i am going to buy it methinks.
