NOOOOOOO!!! I just realised daylight savings time is looming nearer. Oh god, I hate DST, it messes with my body clock something fierce. I wish we could abolish it, it's bloody pointless. It was originally instigated to reduce the amount of time people had to use incandescent lighting, like lamps or candles, but it's now, not the 1800's. A lot of people I know leave lights on all the time, so having DST is pointless. If I could start a petition to get rid of it, I would, but I don't have the... level of commitment required to do such a thing (read: laziness). I'll just keep bitching about it, because that's about all I could be bothered doing. God damn you, George Vernon Hudson.
I hate my internet connection at the moment. Because it's wireless, it's very temperamental, drops out in the middle of games, never stays constant and is very unreliable overall. That's why I'm switching to a land line internet connection coming this Tuesday. So look out, all you yanks, I'll finally have a decent enough connection to pwn you at SWAT.
I have a sort of love hate relationship with my connection. In btb I usually lag health and shields back so it takes something that can kill me in one hit to take me down, and armor locking my ghost doesn't do anything. On the down side it takes forever to find a game, and I can only join custom games if someone in it has a really good connection.
That's ridiculous, is that even legal? I remember a few times when I was a cart pusher for Albertson's they'd have me close (til midnight) then open (at 6 am). I'd literally go home, sleep wake up 5 hours later, then go straight back to work.

I have to make a scale diorama of the human body in 3-D with all of the major bones and systems (yeah, a **** too) out of construction paper; all because my school is too poor to afford dead people for us to dissect.
It takes me ages to find games too, although I've heard that's just because Reach's Matchmaking system isn't as good as Halo 3's. Got the phone line connected today, though it'll take a few days for the actual internet to get connected to it. God damn, I thought I'd be pwning yanks today. Instead, I played Mass Effect 2 from around 7.30am til approximately 6pm, so it's not all a bad thing. Just have to wait a little longer for my awesome interwebz to come online. Also, that Songified song was awesome, Dunk. Are you venting that everyone's jumping on the Autotune bandwagon too much these days?
I never really understood how people could play videogames for hours like that. If I play for any longer than an hour (except when i'm playing splitscreen with friends) I usually just get bored or get completely distracted with something else.
How long do you class as ages? Even in the playlists with a small player count, like objective, I'll always get a game within the minute. In the bigger playlists, it's usually less than 30 seconds. Are you playing alone, or with friends, though? If I'm online on my own, as in, not playing online with a friend and talking to him, I'll only play for about an hour. If I'm with a friend, it's until we get bored, or there's something else to do.
I usually don't even bother playing online. Mostly because it's just frustrating to play against nerds and glitchers blah blah, basically online unless someone texts me or calls me to play online. I either just play story mode in games or put in GTA4/TBOGT/TLAD to shoot cops.
I ****ing hate the fact that my email that I used to get the Bf3 Beta was locked, and I can't do a password reset, mostly because now I have to wait until Thursday to play the Beta.
On a good day it will take me <1 minute. On a normal/bad day it can sometimes take up to 3 or 4 minutes. It likely has a lot to do with my wireless modem, though. Hopefully the new connection will eliminate this problem, as well as the bevy of lag I get a lot of the time, too. I have a pretty funny video on my HDD of me lagging really bad in one game, and another of me respawning instantly after a death due to lag. Anyway, I'm still waiting on my connection to... connect. I called the ISP yesterday and asked, "what's the dillyo, yo??" To which the guy on the other end replied, "it still being connected, dawg, juss chill, yo." Could take up to the end of the week. Oh well, at least it's actually going through.
