I was wanting lights in the ceiling, as I already have a strip of lights on the floor blocked by the half blocks so it doesnt actually light up the room, but allows you to maneuver in the dark without bumping into stuff.

I want i to operate like a normal light switch in a house essentially, but on a much larger scale seeing as I want it to work for the entire quadrant of the city (each quadrant is 100x100)

no, i dont. I can pm you the map file once it gets to the point that it can be done for the whole quadrant though

 

ok when you do ill host it on my private server and you show me exactly what you want.

 

I just want a strip of lights going down the center of the hallways ceiling, simple enough. Just needs to be done for ALL the hallways off of that one switch is all.

If need be though you can always do that and I'll show ya what I want.

Nope, the server crashed 0.3 seconds after ignition.

BTW, those that are having trouble looking for villages. Here is a seed where you actually spawn in one of their houses lol. The seed is: "gimmeabreak".

And to pino, I did add tnt, I placed it along the sidewalks in the npc village. Its hard to see in the pic though.
