Coliseum Wall Contest

It would probably be kind of pointless for me to compete in this competition. I'm guessing you're from the US of A, Rogue? Yeh, US Microsoft card's and codes don't work for Aussies.

Plus, it's pretty close to the deadline, and I've already got another map I want to finish before I get on anything else. And, there'll be divided time between other games in the months to come, so not a lot of time for Reach at the moment.

Great idea, though, this would really push people to use their imaginations. Good job.

 

Oh, well that is actually pretty well thought out. Nicely done.

Still, not sure if I'll be able to find the time to knock-out a map. There's about two and a half weeks to go to the cut-off, but we'll see what I can do. If I get this other map finished I might end up making something.

 

Rogue, are you going to submit the coliseum wall map that we played on?

I helped you test it awhile back. It was pretty good for only using coliseum walls.

 

Is there a player number we should aim for? I see there are 4 judges so should this aim at 2v2 or 4 player Free For All? I tend to think too large and wanted to know if suggested player size would affect judging and whatnot.

 

Any players count is allowed. Just make the best map you can with coliseum walls.

 

Seeing how mini games are allowed, Are you allowed to spawn golf balls as goals for your mini games? You actually are NOT using the toy section at all if you do this.

 

This should only take the weekend to make for me, I like the Idea even if I have a map pack(3) and several maps working on it should be easy becuase I was planning to do stuff with this anyway. I just need to plan a name, I like 'Templar' and 'Typical'! Well see everyone on the otherside unless I continue to edit it till it looks better anyway, can it have vehicles, it would be quite useful to use in building my "first big team battle map it I get to that point, not likely though just asking.

Making a Montana map for btb with only coliseum walls is more difficult than one might think. Spawning will probably be most difficult with so much open space.

 

So your encouraging people to use the ugliest item in forge, brilliant.

 

I would say its one of the most simplistic, not ugliest. I would vote some sort of incline or "natural" item as ugliest, or a weapon.
