Very Nice! only problem I have is that the first few times in the sand-crawler it self i got lost and you should go over some of the kill barriers i fell slightly off track at the beginning and then just blew up! Overall Good Race map smooth turns and awesome aesthetics and theme 8/10 (would be a 10/10 if it was longer)
Thanks!! And I originally wanted it to race all the way around the sandcrawler, but i didn't have enough pieces... I literally have no building blocks, walls, inclines, and rocks left... and I only have 2 objective pieces left also...lol
Very creative how you turned it into a race track, but I'd try to use some corner peices, as I'm guessing the front blinks like crazy.

I like the Idea. The only problem is the track itself. Everyone says "asthetics asthetics asthetics" But in reality a racing game is only as good as the car controls, not just because each tree looks good. The fact of the matter is with 1 drop made to look like a jump is not enough. Racing up hills are also annoying, since you spend most of your time going up hill it has left me with a sense of boredom. I would give a 10/10 for asthetics but for the track itself a 3/10.
But remember that is completely your opinion... I like racetrack like this... but then again I love city tracks... And so far everyone who has raced it (that I know) love it!! But to each his own... thanks for your honesty
I mean building only what you can see as you are racing through the track. 2D asthetic backgrounds, if you get what I mean. This will get rid of the flickering lag. Just a suggestion, but its an amazing map. good job!
Looks awesome, just downloaded. I do have 2 small concerns: 1) As you enter the sandcrawler, just before you go on the conveyor belt, it looks like you can drop down to the checkpoint without going around all the track. Obviously, it's a lot more fun to go round, but if some guy would rather cheat than have fun that kind of ruins it for everyone. Is there any reason for not having an extra checkpoint? 2) At the start/finish line there is a one way shield door. Part of me dies every time I go through one of those and my goose slows down to a crawl. Is that there to prevent people from going too fast over the jump, or just to make me sad?
the one way shield door is there to slow you down before you hit the ramp so you don't hit the jump so fast. now back to the map its fun great looking and plays well and is quite smooth only thing that would make it better is use the cones to make a jawa and have a sandbag endcap as it's hood at least thats what i would have done but still a great map i love your race maps.
The flickering lag came from all the capture plates and flag stands on the conveyer belt... I did delete all of that and there was no flickering at all, but when other people raced the deleted version... they didn't like it as much... everyone told me to keep the capture plates and flag stands in and oh well about the flickering... also I explain this in the video [br][/br]Edited by merge: Thanks and: 1) You can't drop down because I put a kill barrier (I put them everywhere on the track so it would not be possible to cheat)... also i didn't want to put too many checkpoints out because then you will be constantly hearing "checkpoint reached"... and that gets annoying...lol 2) The shield doors are for when you go off of the jump, everyone will be going the same speed... I know you slow down to a crawl... but it is the only way to make that jump 90% consistant
Yeah I just played around in forge, I see the kill barriers now. After messing around a bit I totally see why the shield doors are there. A lot of poor mongeese met their end thanks to my recklessness. Also great job on the map, even racing on my own it was a blast.
