Frankies leaving Bungie!!!!

A sad day indeed. I remember when he front paged me and I felt like a super special princess. Bungie will never be the same.

The news hasn't even been out for half that time...

Anyway, he's still working on Halo, so that's what counts. But yes, he will be missed over at Bungie.

i can't blame him, bungie makes the largest crap ever, they can't even get proper coders.

 

I'm actually really surprised at him leaving Bungie. He had a dream job working there and everyone loved him.

This guy in my eyes never made Bungie any better.
Please tell me what it is that he did to deserve all this, because all I know of him, is
to sometimes post on the updates (that are less frequent day by day on bungie).

E93 he interacted and communicated with the community. His updates gave bungie a personality and a friendship with the people. No game developer is as involved with its community as bungie is, and frankie has played a huge part making this true.

Yes, he (lukems) and Frankie were the two main guys who did all the updates, whom as Mallet said, gave people more reason to read the weekly updates from the certain personality he put into them. Perhaps you just haven't read the updates consistantly enough to realize this.
