Cairo Space Port v 2.0 Change Log * Removed some weapons and grenades. * Changed some weapon and grenade spawn locations. * Added Anti-Spawn zones for objective gametypes * Added rock formations on Blue Base's open side of the map to match the ones already there on red base side (the natural formations) Description The UNSC Light Frigate Delta Shadow is docked for refit and repair at the Cairo Space Port. I came up with Cairo Space Port after messing around with this UNSC ship design on several of my other scrapped maps. I wanted a map that sort of had a Boneyard feel (where the ship isn't just an aesthetic, its actually playable). So I started creating the ship in several places in Forge World before I settled in the Quarry. I won't blabber on any more...I know what yall want to see...so here it is...the weapon's list and pictures! The map itself looks really good, but the limited space in the Quarey puts a limit on your great map idea. It looks like you took a bit of inspiration from boneyard. Anyways, I would maybe but it in the canyon, so you can make the ship bigger and a bit more defined, as it kinda blends in with the dock.
I guess I can see it... IMO I don't find pre-made buildings to be very original and creative. Maybe try to replace the buildings you have on your map with building blocks and decorative items and the such to improve the map. I like the idea of the map, though. It seems pretty creative.
The reason I ended up choosing the Quarry was because I wanted it to be a small 3v3-6v6 map...so if I made it in the canyon and tried to make the ship bigger I don't think it would really work as a 4v4 map...but I'll look into it...Also, it's kinda hard to make the ship look different then the dock when all the pieces are just gray...not much I can do to make the ship look different from the dock with the limited pieces we have... I'll see what I can come up with to replace the buildings and get back to you...thanks for the idea
