    This is Twin Rivers.

Our map is primarily a base vs base slayer map that also includes a number of objective game types. What you will find upon your first few minutes of playing is that its a very fast paced high energy map that involves plenty of action across all aspects of skill level.
Running, ducking and dodging through the rivers and across the grass attempts to offer a varied and colorful approach the the standard grey and blue of the regular forge map experience.
Choose to battle head on across the central expanse of the map or try your skills as you propel yourself across man cannons to the outside platforms for unique mid air encounters and close up frenetic action.

Twin rivers contains the following weapons:

    2x Grenade Launchers
    1x Shotgun
    2x Sniper Rifles
    4x DMR
    2x Needle Rifles
    2x Plasma Pistols

(please note that the concusion rifles have been replaced with grenade launchers)

Fast paced action takes place on the platforms outside either base, note the blue team crossing the outside platforms with the taste for orange teams blood.

A closer view of the main expanse, shotgun can be found atop the central rock structure, health packs below the bridges and DMR underneath the arch of the large platforms.

    Birds eye view.

Sniper rifle is located on the right corner when leaving either base, this firing line indicates the location of the opposing sniper rifle.

The needle rifle is located on the opposite side of the sniper rifle, the left platform upon exiting either base.

    Hope you enjoy it :)

Looks like a really fun small map, for 4v4 or 2v2. I like your use of the open dishes.

I remember playing a CTF match on this. It was a pretty fun map (I especially enjoyed using the GL), but I remember feeling a bit constricted as to the options that I had available in terms of pathways. Taking the grav lifts especially led you to a one-way path, something that I didn't really enjoy. I also remember a whole lot of lag in the center, probably because of the tin cups.

We were thinking of removing the the grav-lifts for objective game types.

we do also have a grass less version of the map, to help with frame rate. but it is quite dull.

It's not really the grav lifts themselves that're the problem for me personally. It's how they always land the player on a linear, exposed bridge with little room to maneuver. If you could turn the said bridges into something that's more friendly to movement, I think it would be a nice improvement.

Edit: Also, I'd definitely consider removing the tin cups, mainly for framerate, because I couldn't even look towards the center without experiencing some lag. Maybe replace them with the colored side of the Y platforms, shaded green?

I like the idea of making a more covered landing pad for the outside grav lift ways, we always considered those to be faster shortcuts across to either base but it turns out they are the most used parts of the map.

as for removing the tin cups, yes this needs to happen. frame rate issues are unacceptable. the question is what they can be changed to, the y platforms is a good idea also.

thank you for the input :)
