Just a thought, but maybe everyone should be allowed to use window coliseums, as well. I know it's the WALL coliseum contest, but it could be changed to the Coliseum Contest instead? Just an idea...
It's all about gray. Coliseum windows (you sound like and idiot saying window coliseums) are not gray. alreadyRogue? is there a category in judging for grayness?
thx OF COURSE, adding forgeworld scenery will be largely the difference between maps, a good location with good natural terrain is good. A piece with a new shape and a new texture would completely defeat the purpose of this contest. Its all about using a relatively bland piece in creative new ways I will be judging the contest with three others. So i will not be entering. I dont think so, there isnt really an objective way to judge it, would more grey be better, or less grey be better???
well, allright, now that the bickering is out of the way, where exactly do I submit a map for the contest? oh, and can I post a map preview picture in a post here? Edit 1: One more thing.. I know glitches aren't allowed, but the lighting in some areas allow for variations of the color grey in the walls...Since I can't really correct it, I decided to embrace it, and designed some of the asthetics incorperating the shading problems... This is allowed, right... Edit 2: Can I use that collesum wall banner as my sig, like how people used the $5000 buget contest sig? How exactly would I do that too?

hmm.. That's a good colleseum wall mp you've got there on the map submission thread. I see you've built your map on the mountain on paradisio. I'm building my map on the quarry, that way grey isn't the ONLY color and to eliminate the need for pre-fab floors. Oh, and how many submissions are allowed, because I think I'll submit 2. And one's an invasion map!
Question. Are joint submissions allowed..? Ive basically built the main structure of my map it needs a jump pad in it. Ive tried making one but failed numerous times. If they are allowed im inviting a co-forger to build one for me, and if you want can help with the rest of the map. As long as the structure ive already built stays the same (About 20-30 odd CW's used so far, no scenery as of yet)
Yeah coforges are allowed, but remember that niether of the co-forgers are allowed to co-forge with other people or submit their own map. Updated OP thanks

Very cool idea. It may help people see geometry first from now on. Whenever I look at a map, I always picture the layout made of coliseum walls so I don't let aesthetics influence my impression of the map.
No grids are not allowed, even if they are underwater. Xzamples does that mean you are competing then
