This is a remake of Kakariko Village from The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I made this map as identical as I could as if it were in the game. The only bad thing is that you can't enter the windmill. Well, here are some pics below if you're interested, also I have a video of the map: Halo Reach Map: Kakariko Village - YouTube Hope You Like It!
I like the aesthetics. It isn't going to work for competitive, as the video suggests. I love loz (have every version and made 2 maps about it) and this is a good remake. But it won't play well. The original enviroment wasn't built for Halo, never the less reach. Jetpack looks widely OP. The weapons are fixed/phased. You need to make them normal physics. It causes host issues that nonhosts cant pick up them. Anywhichenway, on to aesthetics. They are good on the outside for the mostpart. I think the rock wall is pretty ugly. I'd much rather regular or spruced up walls. Even Coliseum walls would be better. The interiors are really boring. Most of the time it is just a few 2x1 thins lined up in a formation. I don't think the shooting gallery looks good, nor that you should be able to go behind the desks in it. All in all, looks pretty accurate. I too am disappointed you can't enter the mill.
Thank you for the feedback. I was worried about object and budget issues so that's why interiors lacked design and such. I will probably make the weapons to where they hold on some flag stands and will have normal physics. I kind of want the rock walls so stay, but I'll find a way to flatten them out. And if I have some more objects, I will put more design into the houses and possibly make a teleporter door in the windmill to where it brings you in it. Also I noticed you complain a lot about it not playing well. Just because I made it compatible with almost every gametype doesn't mean it's meant for competitive play, I just want to make this map appeal to people who like most gametypes. All in all, I made this map mostly more about playing around in than for competitive purposes.
