Well, today I had the idea to make a cursor that looked like a DMR reticle. After several dowloads of cursor compiling programs, here is what I finally made. After a few minutes of use you get used to the difference, its like, you have used it before or something ;D Standard Cursor Moused Over something -animation of said mouseover (resolution is way better than in gif) Loading something -the gap moves around in a circle after some testing with just those, i added an older AR reticle for resizing Move: Verical resize: Horizontal resize: Diagonal resize 1: Diagonal resize 2: to come is a reticle that closest resembles the text selection thing, but its no big deal DOWNLOAD DMR cursor How to use the cursors Spoiler 1. Open up control pannel 2. search for "mouse" 3. click "change how the mouse pointer looks" or something similar 4. replace all the default cursors with the one in the zip file, all the names are the same 5. Apply MAC? ur boned.
+rep Gravity hammer is the only thing I can think if for text selection but that could get annoying quickly. I'd like to know what software, I assume it's free, you used so I could try this out myself. Is there bloom when you click on something?
unfortunately there is no way to add an animation to clicking, but I timed it so that the bloom generally goes off right around the time you click the link. Yeah the software is here

I customised a old laptop I used to have and I remember making the needler reticle for text selection; cos it looks like { } Come at me bro!
I think it's too big, any way you could make one just a bit smaller? And I like the text select, but without the spokes at the sides, just the up and down ones.
lol it is compatible for both, I just dont know how to install it on mac btw your super lucky about the macbook a google on how to do it would probably make it work

Just discovered this yesterday and made my own text select because the awesomeness of a DMR reticle for a pointer inspired me to fill in more of the missing pieces. Okay, it's not that size but it's the Scorpion reticle from Halo 1!
