Play with even teams. This map will dominate uneven ones.

Why hasn't the thread been updated yet? The new version has been out since long, and it's already long overdue.

I'm assuming you just never bothered on here. I think it might be worthwhile, because people would probably like that better than this atrocious v1. =)

You're both so lazy, Dorkins and Levvi.

This map just looks so amazing!
I really like the way you created thos circles in the grass. It adds the feel as it were the remnants of an ancient floor. Really well done!

I'm really looking forward to play on this map!

The current version doesn't look quite the same though. Of course it has the same basic aesthetic elements, but it is a lot cleaner and really just better in every way. The layout has gone through major changes.

I really don't see why you refuse to update this, Alex. It's not that difficult.

    New version download

Great job Levi. You have yet to disappoint. I found that the sniper platform was a bit disconnected, and with some reconstructing, could compliment the flow of the map much better. Also, The circles in the ground look nice, but the catch grenades very commonly. I like the idea, but it has a negative effect on gameplay.

Are you talking about V2 or this one? This thread is incredibly old and outdated. I'm going to get some new pics right now.

The biggest improvements are in terms of layout, in my opinion, but this also has improved framerate. It runs about as good in thre player split screen now as it did with one player earlier. The previous version just didn't use the objects very well at all.

This tomb, for example, Is now made out of 11 pieces less than on the previous version. It was made out of a 2x3 block in conjunction with columns and even some flag stands for decoration (No **** you had screenlag, noobs.) while you could replicate the shape pretty well with a platform large turned upside down. I still don't understand why you didn't use it from the beggining. Good thing you've got me. I really doubt you didn't know you could do that instead, though. I mean, considering that your maps in avarage are much better than mine. You truly are peculiar.

These have also been altered. They were made like stairs earlier and the amount of objects it has decreased with is huge.

I recommend you make this the new thumbnail.

Now, Levvi, the pics are here and the DL link is in one of my previous posts. Change the OP already, noob.

Too bad he will most likely not notice this 'cause he probably never comes to this site any more.

@Hulter: Yeah, I must've had the oldest version. The sniper area looks like it will flow much better, but the circles i was referring to are the circular ramp, larges. Though they are a nice detail that compliments the theme, but they catch grenades a lot. I would experiment with other objects and see what else will give it that nice look without having a negative effect on the performance.

Love the design. I would like to see an exterior shot. I dont know if there was enough budget/pieces to do the exterior as well. In any case, its a good looking map. Good job.

I am very impressed. I love the barely noticeable stairs, it gives the map like an ancient feel to it. This map is so beautiful I don't really have any complaints/suggestions. 10/10

I'm glad to see the updated map addressed a lot of the screen lag issues!

The aren't much worse than the grass in general and I don't think it matters that much. I use them for actually bouncing nades frequently, as you can't do that by just throwing them somewhere else. I think it's good because it requires that you aim really well when tossing your nades.

So, they are more of a feature than a bug to me TBH.

You can remove all of your Anti Respawn Zones without affect. To make the map more maintainable, I would consolidate the Kill Boundaries. The architecture is very inspiring. It is interesting how I am seeing more and more people using the large walk bridge upside down in their maps.

great use of aesthetics indeed especially the rounded inclines barely coming through the ground. I also like the platforms placed together like a diamond, the large antennae as braces and the wall coliseums in the back. Good job man.

I downloaded and play tested this map last night, and I gotta say I was thouroughly impressed...The atmosphere of your map draws the player in, and then the gameplay sells it!

My only complaint is the weapon placement...when I played through I edited the "weapons on map", cause 2x Rocket Launchers made the match seem more "Casual" and less of a "Competative" map...but that's a minor and easy fix

    Great map overal!

I can see it working for a big doubles map too (epitaph was my fav) Great job with the general visual appeal to the map. Looking forward to seeing it on imperium's forge open II.

like the map a lot, being an architect major myself I can appreciate this map. but it seems more like an outdoor chapel, less a ruined basilica/church as in the description. if it were ruined, there would be more members, trusses, columns, piers, etc laying around (which could be an awesome version 2 of this map in the future?) BUT as it is "overgrown" now, it looks and works great! Possible would have considered floor pieces coming through the floor more, having been broken, and now just bits of the floor remain (instead of the perfect semi-circles on the ground). either way, these are just small things, I personally like the map a lot!
