The same could be said of every Reach map. That's just talk. I very much doubt that there'll be enough budget or space to make a significantly different map, except maybe on Timberland. I suppose they might be remaking Sidewinder though. Those are the only two I see as highly customisable.
Yea. Sidewinder wold be epic! And I'm sure they'd add enough stuff to make some pretty cool snow maps
OK in CEA they said you can push a button to transition between amazing graphics and halo CE (2001) graphics. I want this option to be in forge, i want to be able to select forgeworld (2001) and forgeworld (2011), or something of the sort, and be allotted many many times more objects in the 2001 version because the objects would not have lights, or all those unnecessary gimmicks, where as the 2011 version would be standard forge 2.0 as we know it That, or the ability to switch between the two on the fly, which would mean the same number of objects in each world (on each engine) so every map can be viewed in both ways. That way, if a map has unbearable frame rate lag, a player can just switch to the less polygon intensive view and be alleviated from the lag. Just a nice idea.
not feasible. The game is quite close to release, you aren't going to get any kind of feature in the game that hasn't been talked about yet. The game itself is probably already done and just awaiting launch at this point, the most your going to get is a couple rebalances to things. As it is that system is what took the most time I would beleive, so trying to add that to multiplayer for one, would push the release beyond that of a 10th anniversary, and two, would just be something that very few people actually made use of. TL;DR They aren't going to do this.
What you're saying is cool, but it really doesn't make sense if you think about it. There never was a 2001 forgeworld so that system wouldn't work. They would have to manually go in and design each forge piece to look like a ten year old model. The reason it worked so east for the campaign was because it was already done for them.
It wouldn't happen. The only reason CEA has both new graphics and old graphics is because the game is exactly HCE, just with a new graphics layer. It wouldn't work for forge world because forge world has a new graphics engine with no old graphic engine and it would take the game a lot longer to realease if it did happen, and it would probably take a long time to make forge world in twelve year old graphics.
There is also the issue of Multiplayer being on an entirely different engine than campaign, which is apparently built so that it cannot support low graphics. Everything needs to have too much detail, abundant lighting, and clashing colors to make it as difficult as possible to render, or the game will crash.
New idea for the halo series Halo: Terrorists Imagine a sandbox game(as in kill civilians steal and jack cars) based on halo. Well halo terrorists is supposed to be about elites sent into human territory to go crazy and kill random people. You start in a corvette as a minor with only a sword. You get some money to start you off (100 credits). Just enough to buy the plasma rifle and the plasma pistol or dual wield swords. You can also buy vehicles and brute weapons(or just capture a weapon/vehicle that you find on the way). As you progress you get more armor, weapons, vehicles, strength and agility. There will be enemies on the streets: civilian: Don't attack they just flee, kill them to take their money gang member: Attack randomly, kill them for money and weapons police: Attack only if you go crazy, kill them for weapons marine:Attack if you over power the police, kill them for weapons ODST: Attack if you are having too much fun to be killed, kill them for weapons Grunt: Ally, if killed they whine Hunter: Ally, if killed by YOU they attack YOU Prophet: Ally, if killed by you they flee Jackal: Ally, if killed they whine Skirmisher:Ally, if killed by YOU they attack YOU Heretic: Semi hostile but they mostly run and hide, if you find them kill them, they carry heavy weapons! Drone: Ally, if killed nothing happens Elite:Ally, if killed by you they attack you Monitor: Semi hostile but they mostly run and hide, if you find them kill them, you will unlock secret weapons(Golf club, sentinel beam, ext.) Brute: Ally, if killed they go crazy and smash everything All enemies and allies each have their own vehicles to steel um... I mean "borrow" to aid you. Campaign should still be as deep as halo reach, but missions should give you freedom to make it your own. There should be exclusive elite armor unlocks that transfer to reach like arbiter armor.
Halo would never work as a sandbox game. And that is the worst story for a game I've ever heard. But on the subject of terrorists in Halo, I think it would be cool if one of the enemies you fight are the insurrectionists. It wouldn't happen in Halo 4, but maybe some later games.
TIMBERLANDS / RIDGELINE PRISONER / SOLITARY INSTALLATION 04 (FF MAP) CAMPAIGN FOOTAGE MULTIPLAYER VIDOC [br][/br]Edited by merge: Headlong confirmed.
If you're going to use one map as the reason to buy it, why not wait for the DLC and save a **** tonne of money?
thats actually what I intended on doing, only reason I would get HCEA would be... nevermind, I have no real reason why I'd want HCEA over the map dlc.
Because Halo CE is an amazing game, and you want to play campaign with your pals again? I think that and what will probably be a $20 DLC is worth 40 bucks.
