Celestial (Elysian) CELESTIAL previously known as empyrean but was changed... sorry (generic introduction) hey guys! its taken me a while to get this map of the ground but im pretty sure its as done as its going to get (aka my controllers broken) this is also my submission to the $5000 budget challenge! so i hope you guys like it and maybe vote for me! yes, vote for me this map is a multi-tiered map built on that one weird place next to the cave on forgeworld (you know the place ) anyways, its got a lot of cool themes and i tried to add in as many awesome features as i could with the money i had. Ive added some "trap door" type things that allow you to jump directly to the bottom level without being hurt at all. they work well for escape hatches and quick gettaways. GET ON WITH IT! so here are the pictures which youve no doubt already looked at even before reading this... Random image. its definately a good map, but its not gonna win the $5000. good job with it though. i like it because i like maps that are built against walls. doing this makes forging alot harder. i will say its one of the nicest cliff side maps ive seen in awhile.

BtDubs i forgot to mention a few features on the map, - there are also frag and sticky grenades near each of the bases - also, there is one plasma pistol for each side and probably most important is that (i dont remember if i mentioned this) on the large bottom level there are two grav lifts that take you to the top of either the blue base or red base, if you look at the overview picture, the grav lifts shown are coming from the very bottom of the map. I cant help but think of Elysium when looking at this map name. It was a popular map once and it may take away value, I dont know. But ill have to say the steps look really cool. Where you made this map is pretty cool too, Nice job overal!
haha! the distance between the top and bottom of the map, and the fact that i only had $5000 made me use a grav lift! i wish i couldve used something more interesting, but it simply wasn't reasonable. thanks for the Comment though! Yeah haha, i was going to name the map Empyrean but i found that was already taken so i had to change it. If you have a better map name please, please suggest one! thanks for the feedback!
cool map, reminds me of the campaign. some parts are a little to open, but it is a buget map. good work.
Love it, good placement, good object usage, good aesthetics, you name it, it's there, my one problem with this map is that ALL of the power weapons are in favor of the blues, they aren't even halfway, maybe putting the sniper just a little closer to the reds, like halfway and have the GL the same distance from the reds as the the shotty is for the blues, other than that, Kudos for a map well forged, if you hadn't said so, I wouldn't t have known it was for a budget challenge
